•|Y/N POV|• It was 4:08pm when Jake asked me to go on a date with him tonight. It's currently 5:49pm. I have ten minutes before he gets here.
Not gonna lie, I'm pretty nervous for this. What if he doesn't like how I look? What if things go wrong? What if I mess up? What if we can't afford it?
Those kind of questions flooded in my mind. "Ugh stop that, Y/N! You're gonna ruin the perfect night of your entire life!" I said to myself.
This is my first ever date with my crush. Yes, I like Jake Webber. I've known him since senior year of high school. We both moved out to Los Angeles.
He moved in with friends. I live on my own. But I have a cat named Oreo to keep me company.
I named him after a cookie because one; he's so sweet, two; he looks like the cookie; and three I like Oreos. Fight me. Kidding.
Anyways, I finished with my makeup and looked at myself in the mirror. "I wonder if he's gonna like it." I said. Not even a minute later I hear the doorbell ring.
I checked the clock. "Oh fuck! 6:00!" I swore. I grabbed all the things I needed and headed to the door. I opened it to see the handsome man himself.
"Hey, you ready?" He asked. "Mhm." I nodded. He took my hand and walked me to his car. Did I mentioned how much of a gentleman he is?
No joke, he opens the doors for me to let me in. Even the car door. He's always saying "Lady's first" to any female. Honestly, who wouldn't love a man like him?
On our way to the location, he started asking me questions. Like how I'm doing, how's everyone in my life doing. Yeah, those kinds. I didn't mind, it's a polite thing to do.
"Have you looked in the mirror yet?" He asked. "Yes." I answered him. "Good." He said. "Why did you ask that?" I asked him. "Because you should. You look beautiful tonight." He smiled at me.
I felt my heart racing. "Thank you." I blushed. He knew I was blushing, he didn't see it but he knew. I heard a chuckle from the man because of it.
We finally arrived to the place. I got out of the car, and saw how the restaurant looks like. It looks expensive. He took my hand and we went inside.
The waitress took us to our table and sat down. She handed us the menu. "Take your time, I'll be back." She smiled then walked off.
We talked for a while then our food came. It was the best food I have ever had in my entire life! Jake paid for the meal, how kind.
"I have a surprise for you, this'll be our last spot then I'll take you home." He smiled. I wonder what it is.
"Awe, Jake, you didn't have to!" I gushed. "I think it's the most perfect place in LA." He said
He drove us to the ' surprise ' spot. It was up on a mountain, he parked the car in the car park. I'm glad we didn't walked.
We both got out and walked to a tree. There was a bench there too, we both sat on it and watched the beautiful sky.
The moon was so bright, and the stars sparkled in the dark sky. We sat there in comfortable silence.
He then pulled out a small box. "For you." He said as he kissed my hand. I opened it and saw a beautiful necklace that says my name on it.
"It's beautiful, Jake." I blushed. I looked at him and thanked him for the beautiful gift. His face got closer to mine.
"May I?" He asked. I nodded. He leaned in for a kiss. Was this really happening? Me kissing my crush, Jake Webber?
Yes, it was. I enjoyed it. The best kiss I've ever had. After the kiss, he smiled at me softly.
"I have a question for you." He said. "What is it?" I was confused. "Will you be my girlfriend, Y/N?"
I smiled widely. "Yes!" I answered him. I hugged him so tight. I was so happy. The best date I could ever have.
