As I finished finalizing my plan yesterday, it was time to prepare for the escape. After some time, I figured that once I escaped, those creatures would hunt me down, meaning it's like a game of survival.

It won't be easy to also live outside without anything in hand, it'll be better if you'd at least have a weapon. Something like, a throwing knife. But unfortunately, I can't throw knives and the house obviously doesn't have one so I'll just choose a bow.

I remember Fischl teaching me this kind of stuff. I'll deal with the weapons later, we still have a lot of time. Children start getting shipped out once they turn six, luckily I'm only turning five. I still have time to prepare.

Right now I'm walking through the halls of the house to get to the test room. Last year, I never really put that much effort on the tests and just having an average of 289-297 makes me high quality actually. Now, I'm gonna raise that a bit higher or if- you know what? I'll just average 300. BOOM INSTANT PREMIUM QUALITY

The woman wouldn't easily get suspicious of my sudden increase of scores, since all I did this past few days was to read. I actually read books for getting clues but I guess it was great that it can be used as an excuse for sudden increase of scores.

I entered the test room quietly and sat straight to my seat as I started to doodle random sketches on my notebook as I felt someone sit beside me. On the right side was the 'Mr. Perfect' Norman. On my left was the sunshine of the house, Emma.

"Hi Norman! Hi Y/n!" The ginger haired girl greeted the two of us with energy 'this girl is WAY brighter than my future to be honest' I thought as I smiled back and waved.

"How do you think you are going to do today, Emma?" Norman asked as he looked straight to Emma, 'why am I in the middle of these two? I feel like a third wheel my gosh' I thought as I just continued to doodle on my notebook.

"I think I'll do better this time, Norman! Thanks for helping me study!" Emma replied back as a certain black haired cyclops sat in front of Emma.

"Oh! Good morning Ray!" Emma greeted him with energy as the cyclops just replied with a simple 'morning' with a small wave and got back to reading.

"Late again Ray?" Norman asked with a hint of sarcasm "mind your own business Norman" Ray eyed the boy beside me as he's speaking then just went back to sticking his nose in that book.

"Geez such you're such a bookworm Ray" Emma said as she attempted to take away the book that Ray was reading but was to only meet with a book on her face.

"Ouch! Why do you keep doing that!? It hurts you know!?" Emma said as she rubs her nose from Ray's bullying, "one day my nose will break and you'll regret that!" Emma stated as the cyclops just hummed in response.

I noticed the male beside me chuckle at his two best friends' actions. 'Now that's what you call true friendship; laughing at your friend's misery.' I slightly chuckled at my thoughts as Norman seemed to notice.

"You find them funny too, right?" The boy asked as he pointed at Ray and Emma "Yes, yes I do" I simply replied and laughed.

"This is normal, don't worry" he said back looking at me as I looked at the two idiots bickering. "I know that" I smiled as the woman came into the room.

"Alright children I'll turn off the lights and you guys could start taking your tests" she said as we wore our headphones and got ourselves ready.

The lights went off and our tests started.

"Age 4, Type 1. Answer each question within nine seconds." The AI said as we started answering

-----------------

The tests ended with some few groans from other children as I sighed in relief and relaxed in my seat. "What do you think your scores will be?" Emma asked Norman as he looked at her while laying his head on his desk, in thought.

"I think I pretty much got everything" he replied with confidence as he sat up straight and stretched his arms, "how about you?" He asked back

"I think I made a few mistakes, but I won't get lower than my average!" Emma confidently answered as Norman nodded and turned his gaze to Ray, who was back to reading his book.

"Ray?" Norman called just for the cyclops to reply with "like always". Norman slightly chuckled and turned his gaze to me 'oh please no. I ain't like any of you, I AIN'T SO DON'T LOOK AT ME-' I internally screamed as I looked away to look at the window.

"What about you Y/n?" He asked politely as Emma looked at me, excited and Ray just sent me a glance. 'f*cking bullsh*t~' I thought as I looked at the trio and replied with a "Hm?"

"What do you think your scores will be? Y/n" Norman repeated as I put a finger on my chin. "Maybe just a bit above my average, since all I did this past few days was to read" I shrugged it off as my focus went back to my doodles.

They seemed to be satisfied with my answer as they left me alone 'please never interact with me ever again, thank you' I thought as the woman started to speak "alright then!"

"Congratulations Norman, Ray, and Y/n! You three had perfect scores" she said as I mentally celebrated "wow! Y/n got a perfect score!?" "I mean, she probably learned new things from her reading all day, right?"

The other children spoke as I kept my poker face but with a smile that literally says 'finally. I can die peacefully' "wow! I guess I should really start reading as a hobby huh?" Emma said as Ray eyed her.

"Even if you'd start reading you'll still learn nothing" he stated as I sniffed a laugh "hey! That's rude you know!" Emma talked back as Ray just ignored her with a smirk on his face.

"Don't worry Emma, you aren't that far behind! You actually scored 298 you know! It's higher than your normal average" The woman said as she patted the ginger haired girl.

"Hah! Soon I'll be able to get your scores, Ray, Norman!" Emma says positively "I know you will, Emma" the woman smiled at the girl as she stood up and eyed me then smiled softly

I returned the gesture by smiling back that says 'where's my congratulations?' ah yes, my praise brat self. "You too, Y/n. You surprised me there, keep up the good work dear" she said politely and softly but all I felt was empty compliments, that translated her sentence to  "I never knew you were capable of this, keep it up and enlighten me dear"

'No sh*t'  I smiled with closed eyes as she pats my head.
