(THANK YOU TO WHOEVER HAD THIS IDEA)
Ranboo heard about the news, about Tommy. Sure, Tubbo was miserable but they were more concerned about Dream.
Although Ranboo wasn't here for a long time, they could only imagine how he was like before... the prison.
His enderwalking just disappeared once Dream left, which is adding to his worries. Sure, no more times they wake up in the most spontaneous places. Of course, not too far away from their bed but still wonky.
They felt this weird presence within the air, like heavy fog but the fog is clearer than a day. It starting to crawl on their senses.
Of course, something goes wrong once Ranboo figured it out.
The one day they finally didn't enderwalk out of the bed, it was the last day they would be in the SMP. They started to finally feel better too.
Their ears straighten up as a bizarre noise appeared nearby, startling the hybrid. They looked around for the cause, and it certainly was not what they foresaw.
The... The Portal was blue, nothing like the nether portals they built or seen before. Secondly, it was on the floor, no relics nor markings were seen near it.
And lastly, it seemed to call out for them. They couldn't understand why not how. They were half enderman, meaning that they would be more likely to be 'called' out for by an end portal.
But the unjust god, XD, banned anyone to go there. Or at least in the area of the DreamSMP. Ranboo was still unsure about the other SMPs, which were in the same world but hella far away. Like hella far away.
Their mind was all over the place. Ender side said not to go. The other side could be hazardous. They had weapons, but what if they break. What if there's no food. What is there's Dream right there?
The one side Ranboo never heard from was going crazy. Was this like Techno's chat? Did Dream do this to attract them-
Wait.
How did they know Dream was there? Why did it say that? How... whatever, if it's dangerous, Ranboo shouldn't go alone, right..?
Just go in there!
What?
Why is there a temperature change?
How did they get here?
What's happening?..
Ranboo's head hurt like fuck. That was for sure. Everything else, not so much.
The sky was thankfully nocturnal or else the sun would burn their skin after a few hours. Ranboo stared at the stars.
They're unusual. They Don't look right.
That can't be possible, right?
Ranboo decided, after a few minutes, to look around. They felt something under them, like sand.
Well, no shit, it is sand. They realized that they were on a beach, and there was a town nearby. With a strange building style.
Back when they first joined, Ranboo thought it was normal for random buildings and styles. They thought that everybody helped build them. Turns out, it wasn't. Usually, only one person helped another with a build, not the whole community.
A burning pain brushed onto Ranboo's hand, and they rushed upwards. Water got on their fingers, which was one of the most painful places. One, because of the nerves. The other, they needed their fingers for the hands to work.
Okay. Okay. So, on a beach, a town nearby doesn't look too civil and not familiar, and now their hands ached. Great.
They'll go towards the town then, get some help and be on their way.
Thankfully, it can't get worst right?
It got worst. The villagers they had met first had gasped and either passed out or ran away. Was it because they were a hybrid? Not one if they looked like a hybrid so maybe it's because they don't have anybody like them near them?
Or perhaps that... it's just them. But they're not that scary right?
Right?
Ranboo questioned themselves so a little too long. Hopefully, they'll just forget this and it's just a dream-
The memory book!
Ranboo panicked and searched through their pockets. Food, a picture of their family with Tubbo, a pen, there! Ranboo sighed in relief. At least they had a book so they won't forget...
Ranboo traveled a little longer, dwelling in the shadows. It's started to seem like morning. And with the number of times somebody shrieked at them, even at ungodly hours, they didn't want to know what happens if they stayed till daylight.
They started to trek toward more of the nastiest parts of the town. Houses barely standing, low key damp (which concerned Ranboo but it had to do), and looked like it's still together out of spite.
They wandered towards a docking station, the wood speaking. Ranboo looked around, and towards the sun slowly rising. Ranboo became more worried about being seen. Better find a hiding space and quickly.
But the sun was so nice. The clouds of smoke didn't block it like in the SMP, it was fog that did.
It was beyond fascinating. The fog was grey, although a tad bit hurtful but not as bad as water. The smoke was nearly black and was always there. It seemed like every day would be a rainy day there and you had to get used to it before knowing what the weather would be like.
They remained on the roof for a little bit, relaxed surprisingly for their situation. But, all good things never last forever.
After hours of not using their voice, Ranboo quietly mumbled, "Better get inside."
They decided to take the most still-will-stand-after-a-storm housing area.
They were currently in a small docking space inside, most likely for a boat. It was long and was narrow, but it was enough.
After somewhat cleaning, Ranboo looked at the items in the room. A lever to open the bottom for a boat, better steer away from that in case it does still work. The lights, or lanterns, were the gas ones where you would get a match then lit it, and boom, light.
There was also a lot of junk hidden in the walls, like fishing poles, some strange coins (which were probably the money here), and a weird sword.
Maybe it wasn't going to be as awful as Ranboo thought it was.
Wilbur was a villain.
Wilbur is a villain. But that doesn't mean that he can't change. Better or the worst.
So why did the train halt?
