Chapter 3

I watch as Dolores walks away then I sigh and look back at Camilo. "Hello again Cami," I smile at them as I watch his face contort into confusion with a slightly red hue. "Cami?.." he asks and I laugh, "well I think it's fair I get to have a name for you since you insist on calling me your flower." They just stare at me then smiles slightly, "I guess that's fair." Just as I was about to talk, a pretty lady, with shining ginger hair and a nice yellow dress, come over to us "Camilo, querida, come on, we're going to talk to you're brother before he gets his gift" she says to them. They nod "okay mama," he turns to look at me, "I'll be back mi flor." Camilo and his mother both walk away.

-Timeskip to after Antonio gets his gift, too lazy to write it all out-

I look around the inside of Antonio's room 'woah....this is so cool, I wonder what Camilo's looks like, maybe it changes just like they do!' As I'm thinking to myself I fail to notice Camilo coming up behind me. I almost shriek as I feel hands grab my shoulders harshly, but not enough to hurt me, I turn immediately with wide eyes just to see Camilo laughing. "What is with you Madrigals' and scaring me?" I pretend to cry, "a-are you crying??" they ask quickly, thinking they upset me. I immediately grin "why? do you careeee?" I taunt him. His eyes widen and he scoffs, "what? no, we just met, we aren't even friends" they say a bit too quickly. I feel slight tug on my heart, "right, you are just talking to me cause I'm new...actually I don't feel very good, I'm going home." I rush out, not even looking at them as I push past them. I speed home, ignoring the confused calls of both Camilo and Dolores.

Camilo's POV

I watch as Y/n runs away 'what's wrong with them?' "Camilo! you upset Y/n!" Dolores whisper yells as she pulls me away from everyone "why would you say you aren't friends when you clearly are?" she looks at me in disappointment. "I panicked, I don't know why I said it, you really think it affected them that much?" I ask, worried, "I can literally hear them talking to themselves about it," she replied. 'Oh no, what have I done?' I look down, feeling bad about what I said. "tomorrow you should go apologise, it's too late right now," Dolores says to me. I nod and head to bed.

-Timeskip to after the madrigals breakfast-

I wash my plate then head out to town, hoping to find Y/n, while still helping the people of the town. While walking around I notice an old guy trying to carry a bunch of bags, 'he seems new, looks like he is struggling'. I go over to the man, "excuse me sir, would you like me to help you carry them bags to your home," I ask, wanting to help him. He nods and hands me a few bags, we walk to his house. "Mariposa, I'm home, help me with the shopping please," the man calls as we enter the house. "Okay Abuelo!" a familiar voice replies, someone comes down the stairs, "Abuelo, I don't understand why you got more shopping when I did it yesterday." I look at the person who came down and my eyes widen slightly 'Y/n..' "I just thought I'd get stuff for the house to look nice, and this young person decided to help me," Y/n's Abuelo tells them. They look at me and glare slightly, "thank you for helping mi Abuelo, now please get out of my house," they say to me. My eyes widen just a bit "Y/n, I need to talk to you please."

Y/n's POV

Camilo looks at me with guilty eyes. I glance at my grandfather, he nods, I sigh and grab Camilo's wrist then I pull them to my room. "What do you want? I have stuff to do," I say to him, not wanting to talk to them. "I am extremely sorry for what I said to you, it wasn't true," he apologises, "I don't care, it was true anyways, I had only spoken to you twice before that, you don't know me, nor would you want to," I reply, glaring. Their eyes widen then go back to normal, "I know you're pretty, Mi flor. lets start over, we can be friends and I will treat you like a princess." I sigh, "fine, okay. you can start by helping me and my Abuelo to unpack the shopping," he smiles and nods.
