I wake up the next morning, really early, "ugh that was a horrific sleep" I yawn. I suddenly remember all about yesterday and gasp slightly, "Camilo! I need to check if they're okay!" I immediately get out of bed and get ready. I rush out of the house and run towards the Casa Madrigal. As soon as I get there, I knock on the door quickly; A beautiful woman with golden hair opens the door, I recognise her as the woman from the party. She looks at me confused, having no idea who I am, "excuse me miss, I was here with the rest of the town last night, I would just like to make sure Cami- Everyone is okay," I say to her, trying my best to be polite. "Uh.." she just looks at me, not really knowing what to say. "Mama, who is at the do- Oh! Y/n! are you here for Camilo?" Dolores says as she walks over to the door. I smile sheepishly and nod 'she must have heard me talking to myself' I look off to the side kind of awkwardly. "Ah mama, this is Y/n, they are a friend of mine and Camilo's. Y/n this is mi madre, Pepa" Dolores introduces us, sensing the awkwardness. I smile at her efforts and look at Pepa, "It's nice to meet you Miss Pepa," she smiles slightly "Dolores can take you to Camilo." Dolores nods and they let me in, "thank you miss," we then go to Cami's room and knock on the door.

The door opens slowly and Cami pokes their head out, when he sees me, they immediately look at me confused. "Y/n? what are you doing here?" they ask me as Dolores leaves us alone. "I just wanted to make sure you were okay after yesterday, I saw your gift going out of control, can I come in?" I reply to them, "sure I guess," he opens the door wider. I walk in and look around for a little bit then turn to Camilo, "are you okay? You didn't call me 'mi flor' like you usually do," I say with concern clear in my voice. they go and sit on their bed while I just stand there, not sure if I'm allowed to sit next to him. "yes, I'm okay, not the best though. After what happened last night, I'm worried about the family and the encanto. It sort of hurt when I was shapeshifting out of control," they mumbled the last part but I heard it anyways. I go and stand in front of them and grabs his hands gently, "Cami, I think you should express to your family that you are worried, if it's getting like this then I think you should talk about it. But if you need time, I'll be here for you whenever you need me." He looks up at me and smiles slightly then pulls me down to them and hugs me, "thank you...Mi flor" they whisper. At first I freeze but slowly hug back, "you're like a little teddy bear, maybe that's what I should call you instead of Cami," I giggle slightly and smile. they push me away gently, "don't you dare call me teddy bear, I'm nothing like one." he crosses their arms as I laugh.

Camilo's POV

I watch them as they laugh, heat flows to my face so I quickly look away and clear my throat, "hey, Y/n would you like to stay for tea? I'm sure tia Julietta won't mind making a bit extra" I ask them as they stop laughing. "oh are you sure? I wouldn't want to impose or anything," they reply quietly and look at me with their shining e/c eyes. "I promise they won't min-" my words are cut off by shouting and loud cracking noises, "Y/n. stay here." I run out of my room to see Abuela and Mirabel arguing and the house cracking. Suddenly a huge crack splits the ground apart and everyone looks at the miracle candle. "Casita get me up there!" I hear Mirabel shout, 'she's going to get herself hurt!' I run and turn into Jose to make me taller, as I jump and reach out I shift back to normal and fall. Casita catches me and puts me on the ground, I look up to where Mirabel is, worried when suddenly the ground starts moving, pushing us out of the house. With everything happening I completely forget about Y/n.

The house comes crashing down with Mirabel inside, that's when I remember. "Y/n!" my eyes go wide as both Dolores and mama look at me.

Y/n's POV (back to when Camilo left)

I stay in Camilo's room like he told me to, sitting on their bed. I don't think much of the cracking sounds, not realising what's happening outside of this room. I stand up and decide go around the room, to look at the sort of things Cami has. As I walk around, I feel the floor shaking when suddenly things start crashing down, I scream in fright and run to the door. I rapidly try to open it but I don't succeed, parts of the ceiling had fallen and blocked the door. I immediately run to a corner of the room and curl up with my arms covering my head 'someone please save me...Camilo help..' I feel a sudden impact on my arms and head then everything goes black.
