Y/N thanked me for comforting her & I said any time, this girl is giving me butterflies & I just met her. Hugh was beside me while she said it & he snickered. I elbowed him in the side & he yelped in pain. I just chuckled softly. I hope Y/N chooses to stay, we might be great friends or more. After she left, I went upstairs to my room to get ready for bed. I changed into my nightwear & went to bed.

The Morning of Tuesday, January 9th,1945
Y/N's POV
I yawned & stretched my arm's. I got out of bed & changed into some cloths. I changed into a white top button up & a polka dot skirt. After that I took out a brown sweater. I brushed out my hair & put on the necklace my mom gave me.

I decided that I would stay at Miss Peregrine's home so I decided to write a letter to my mother
Dear mom, How are you ? I just woke up right now so I'm still kind of tired. I wanted to tell you that I might stay here for a few day, weeks or even years since boarding school & all & I don't know when I'll be coming back but I will mail to you so you know I'm still alive. Im going to miss you a lot but I think its for the best. Please don't be sad or mad, I made my decision. I hope you understand. Love, Your daughter, Y/N L/N
I tried holding back my tears while writing it. I was gonna miss my mom a lot. She's my world. One I was done rereading it so there wasn't any mistakes, I put it in a envelope & closed it. I put it in my bag & took my other bags with me. I walked downstairs to give the room key to the owner of the pub. I said goodbye & thank you to the pub owner & left .I went to the post office and mailed the letter to my mom then I started walking to the loop entrance on the beach. One I was there, I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned around and I saw no one so I thought it was Millard.
"Mill ? Is that you ?" I asked
"Hi" Millard said awkwardly
"I was waiting here to see if you would come back & you did which is great " he said
"Oh okk " I said
"Come on, were having breakfast soon, oh & let me help you with those" Millard said while taking 2 of my bags with him.
I nodded & we walked threw the loop entrance. We made it to the entrance of the house & Bronwyn opened the door. When she saw me, her face was very happy.
"N/N !!" Bronwyn said while picking me up and hugging me
"Did you decide to stay ? " Bronwyn asked
"Hey wyn, and to answer your questions yes " I said with a smile
"That's great !! " Bronwyn said
"Oh come inside " Bronwyn said while moving away from the door
I said thank you & she gave me a smile. Once we went in, someone was walking down the stairs.
"I heard Y/N name - Y/N !! " Emma says while running to me & hugging me
"Y/N decided to stay ! " Bronwyn says with a smile
"Really, that's excellent !! I'll show you to your father's room, follow me " Emma says with a huge smile
Me & Millard followed her up to my dad's room . When we enter his room, it was a little but dusty but I could clean it up in no time. I put down my bags and so did Millard. Once Emma saw me & Millard put my bags down she left the room to go tell the others about the news.
"Thanks for helping me" I said to Millard while walking to the door.
" No problem " He said while leaving
Before he left, I kissed him on the cheeked & closed the door. I left him standing outside in shock. I blushed like crazy after that.
Millard's POV
I helped Y/N bring her bags up to her dad's room which is her room now. She said thank you for helping her & I said no problem & before I was about to leave she kissed me on the cheek. Y/N L/N kissed me on the cheek. I stood there frozen trying to process what happened. I touched my cheek & smiled while walking to my room.
Y/N's POV
I started to clean up my dad's room. I got a two boxes from the attic so I could put the items that I wanted to keep & the things I didn't like trash & all . After I was done that, I heard a knock on my door so I went and answered it. Outside my door, everyone was outside but not Millard, since he was in his room doing research and would probably come by later when no one's here & Enoch since he wouldn't care if I was here or not.
"Hey guys" I said
"Hey, we just wanted to see if Emma was telling the truth about you staying " Hugh says with a smile on his face.
Some of the others nodded or said yes.
"Oh well, lucky for you I'm staying so Emma's telling the truth." I said
Everyone nodded & left to go do there own things but Emma stayed back.
"May I come in ? " She says
"Of course, I'm just cleaning up the place. " I said with a smile on my face
"May I help, if that's fine with you . I have nothing else to do anyways & we can talk while cleaning up ? " Emma says
"I would love that " I said
