Me & Emma were fixing up my new room. When we finished, I said goodbye to Emma as she walked out of my room. I decided to unpack my cloths then go find miss peregrine to ask some questions. I started putting my cloths away in my dresser. Once I was done, I went downstairs to look for miss peregrine. I past by a few of the others and smiled at them as they walked by. I found a double door room so I knocked on the door to make sure someone was in there. I heard a voice say come in so I did. One I was in, I found out the person was miss peregrine.
"Oh Miss L/N, how are you liking it so far in your room ? " Miss peregrine asked as she looked up from her work.
"Its nice & cozy, Emma helped clean it up with me " I said
"Oh, well that's nice of her " She said
"The first day I came here, you said I could ask you some questions anytime, is it ok if I ask you some right now ?" I asked
"Of course you can, what would you like to ask me ?" Miss peregrine said with a smile
"What are peculiarity ? " I asked
"A peculiarity is sort of like powers. People who have peculiarity's are called peculiars" Miss peregrine explained
"Oh, that makes sense" I said
"What's a reset ? " I asked
"A reset is when you rewind the day that's why were in a loop, it's the same day over and over again if you rewind but only a Ymbryne like me can do it." She said
"Oh ok, could I ask one more questions" I asked
"Of course " Miss peregrine said
"What was my father like ?" I asked
Miss Peregrine sighed " Your father was a strong & responsible man. He would always help other if needed. He was stubborn sometimes but that's D/N for you. Once D/N & Abe left, it didn't feel the same but we made threw. Most of us still miss them. Once we heard the news about him dying in the war, our hearts broke." She says
I stood there in silence. I nodded and said thank you for the answers. Before I left I forgot to ask one question.
"Oh I forgot a question" I said
"Oh ok, what is it then ?" Miss Peregrine asked
"There's no boarding school here is there ?" I asked
"Oh no, that was just so your mom could allow you to come here to Cairnholm" she said
"Is that it ?" said Miss Peregrine
"Yes, thank you miss peregrine for the answers !" I said while leaving the room
"Your welcome dear" she said with a smile while going back to do her work
After that, I went back to my room to read a book so I could get my mind off of things. I was in the middle of reading a book when someone knocked on the door. I told the person that they could come in. The person opened the door & it was Millard.
"Oh Hey Mill, do you need something ? " I asked while putting the book down
"I wanted to ask if you would like to read with me in the library ? You can bring the book your reading already if you'd like " He said
"Sure but I don't know where the library is" I said
"Oh, here follow me" Millard said while taking my hand
I started to blush a bit because of his touch, his hands were soft & warm. Once we got to the library, he let go of my hand and sat down on the couch. I sat down on the other couch & we started reading. 1 or 2 hours past and it was almost dinner.
"I think we should go to the dining room now, dinner might be ready." I said while getting up from my seat
"Oh ok" Millard said while getting up from his seat as well
We both walked to the dining room and most of the others were there. I sat down were I sat last time which is beside Emma and Millard sat across from me. A few minutes later, the food came & we started to eat. Once we were done dinner, we went outside for reset time. Me and Millard stood beside each other, our hands brushing together one in a while. Before Millard spoke.
"M-May I hold your hand ?" He asked sounding a bit hesitant.
"Sure" I said while my face turned into a tomato.
He put his hand in mine & our hands were now interlocked. The planes flew by & like every other time, miss peregrine rewinded the loop. After that we all went to our rooms & got ready for bed.I changed into my nightgown.

I hopped into my bed and tried to sleep. A few minutes or hours later, I couldn't go to sleep at all so I went threw the window then on top of the roof. The stars were beautiful from here. I just layed down peacefully on the roof while watching the stars. I heard someone coming up to the roof too so I got up. All I could see was floating nightwear so I assumed it was Mill.
"Hey Mill, couldn't sleep ?" I asked him
"Nope, you too ?" he said while sitting down beside me
"Yep" I said
We watched the stars together. I put my head on his shoulders & he put his head on mine. I started to feel sleepy & my eyes started to close.
Millard's POV
"Y/N ?" I asked
I looked beside me to see Y/N's eyes closed. She must have fallen asleep. She looks so peaceful & beautiful while sleeping. I moved her head gently off my shoulders & placed her gently on the ground. After that, I picked her up bridle style. I took her to her bed and pulled the covers over her. I kissed the top of her head. I went to the window & closed it . I was at the door & before I left I said
