I don't like Y/N !

The Evening of September 3, 1940

Millard's POV

We just finished having dinner & we all started to walk out of the house to rewind the loop. When we got out I stood next to Y/N like always. Hugh came over to me and stood next to me on the other .

"Hey, can I talk with you later ?" Hugh asked

"Sure" I said

Miss Peregrine gave us the signal to put on our gas mask & the planes came by. We put on the gas masked & watched. The bombed dropped & miss peregrine rewind the loop. We all took our mask off & went inside.

"Follow me" Hugh told me while walking up the stairs

I said ok and followed him to his room. When we were in his room, Hugh shut the door & turned to me.

"I know you like Y/N" Hugh said

"I don't like Y/N, she's just a friend" I said while being nervous

"Mhm, then why do you look at her all the time & why do you always hangout with her too ?" Hugh asked

"First of all, I do not look at her all the time and second, she's my best friend of course I would hangout with her. " I said defending myself

"Whenever I see you, your cap is pointing at her so your obviously looking at her & I'm your best friend too & we haven't been hanging out a lot because your always hanging out with her." Hugh said while being a little bit sad because of the last part

"Ok, I may have a crush on Y/N ? I don't know, I just get butterflies when I'm around her & she's very smart and beautiful and we have a lot in common . Im sorry we haven't been hanging out a lot too" I said feeling a bit guilty

"Its fine I guess, I have been hanging out with Fiona tho so I wasn't alone and that does sound like you like her, to be honest." Hugh said

I flopped down backwards on to his bed.

"What if she doesn't like me tho & what if-" I said while standing up and walking around in a circle talking gibberish.

"Don't stress Mill. She definitely likes you, Fiona told me while I was hanging out with her." Hugh said while putting his hand on my shoulder to stop me from moving.

"Wait really ?" I said

"Of course you dummy, you think I'm lying." Hugh said

"What should I do then ?" I asked Hugh

"Maybe you can write her a note saying to meet at the beach to see the stars or the backyard for a walk." Hugh said

"That's a brilliant idea Hugh" I said to him while opening his door and walking out of his room

"Of course it's brilliant, I made the idea" Hugh said

"Thanks Hugh" I said while walking into my room.

I closed the door and decided I should meet her at the front of the house then go to the beach with her since she likes star gazing. So, I sat down at my desk and I got a parchment & a quill. I dipped the quill in ink then started writing.

Dear Y/N, Meet me at the front of the house by 1 am. Hope to see you there. Millard Nullings

After I was done writing the note, I folded it & wrote Y/N's name on it. After, I went to Y/N's room & put it on her desk & left the room.

Im so sorry that I haven't posted any chapters in awhile, I didn't have a lot of ideas & school is very stressful. Anyways, hope you enjoyed this chapter !
