It was almost around the time in which Pieck was planning to leave, no matter how many doubts she had about this. That was the only thing that clouded her mind. Filled with trembling anxiety and nervousness pondering about the future.
She wondered if she was the only one that was worrying this much. Probably not. They might have thought about it for a second, but then immediately left their brains once they realized the fun they could have.Fools. They were her friends, but right now, they were acting like fools. Incredible. She couldn't believe they were going to follow through with the party. The worst part is that it affects them too.
Pieck could only hang onto that piece of hope that it got canceled, even though she could choose not to go. I'm free right? I can choose to do what I want. But she won't. That's because she is worried about someone and their safety.
And that person is Porco.
She always felt like she had to protect him at all times. Don't get me wrong, he's strong with a very muscled figure, but strategically, he lacks a lot in some ways. You just never know about a person.
So there she was, sitting on her couch, all dressed up, waiting to be picked up just as Porco and she have agreed to. Waiting and thinking, still examining if it were the right decision or not. That was the only thing that she could think of until she was interrupted by the doorbell.
"Ring"
The doorbell shocked her. Especially since she was in deep concentration with her thoughts. Though she needed something to finally rid her of her thoughts.
She immediately started getting all her stuff ready so she could meet Porco at the entrance of her house. When she opened the door, she was surprised to see how well he was dressed. His attire consisted of some tight ripped jeans and a nice leather jacket. There's always something surprising her about this man.
She will admit, he did look really good right now, but it would be too awkward if she just blatantly said that.
"Hey", he said.
"I've never seen you dress so well, who are you trying to impress?"
He blushed at the comment, which piqued her curiosity even more. There is someone he's trying to impress. At the party? Nowhere else. I wonder who this girl could be.
The thought of this made Pieck a little hurt. Not so long ago, she realized that she had feelings for him and it made her jealous of the thought that he might be going for someone else.
It hurts but she can't do anything but move on.
"Are you ready to leave Pieck?" he asked.
"Yeah let me make sure I have everything".
Pieck quickly reviewed everything she had before she got her keys out of her purse and locked the door to her apartment.
She went off with Porco and they started walking to where the party was going to take place, at Reiner's house. She started to feel the nervousness she was feeling before. This could go two ways, but we can only wish for the best.
After all, these people are stubborn, as they don't know the consequences.
The walk looked like it was going to belong. 40 minutes according to the GPS, but at this point, she doesn't mind walking she enjoys it. She would rather walk the entire world instead of driving it. But maybe that's the way she was raised.
Porco on the other hand was not expecting such a walk, and it was bound for him to start complaining. She looked over to him and she could just notice it by the expression. It was an angry, bored expression.
