My name is Hope Mikaelson. I come from a long line of the villains in the tales you've heard about vampires, werewolves, and everything in between. This is my story of how someone once seen as a villain, becomes the hero of our story.
Her name is Stella Farrington, a extremely powerful witch, a first born from a old bloodline, just like me. But she is also more than what meets the eye. She used to go to my school, everyone was scared of the powers that she had. She comes from a powerful bloodline, just like me. Her and I became friends soon after I first joined the Salvatoreschool for the young and gifted.She was the first friend I made here. I didn't see her as evil, or scary like everyone else at my school did. She was actually really nice to me. We understood each other. We also had a lot of things in common. She became my best friend. We did everything together, well, maybe not everything. I didn't know what I would do without her. Our mom's were also very close, always giving each other advice. It was nice to see my mom happy after all my family had to split up because of the hollow. But, like I was once told, good things always come to an end. Stella's powers took over her one day because she was practicing black magic. She became a different person, evil. She hurt many people while the black magic took over. None were killed thankfully. She was only 12 at the time so she wasn't extremely powerful yet, but for her age, she was the second most powerful witch in my school, me being the first. We did everything to try to save her from the black magic, and we did. But she had terrible consequences. Alaric gave her 2 options. 1. To be in a prison world for a year, or 2. That Stella had to go to a different school, along with her younger brother who was also a witch. Her parents decided to move to Seattle. And to have Stella, and her brother go to a really good, witch only school there. After that we never seen each other in person. Every once in a while, I would get a email from her parents about how she was doing. She wasn't allowed to talk to anyone at my school, including me. But, I just had to know if she was doing ok. After all, we were the best of friends for 5 years. One day the emails just stopped, and I never thought I would hear from her again, until 5 years later. And that is where our story begins.
