Hope POV

After a nice nap, Stella and I decided to go to the park to do some community service by picking up trash.

It was kinda silent, and awkward, for some reason. I decided to change the silence.

"Last night was fun." I said to Stella.

She stopped picking up her trash and looked at me.

"Yeah, minus the whole, bone cracking part of it." She said to me.

"True." I reply.

I start to resume picking up trash.

"I have something to ask you." Stella says.

I stop picking up the trash and look up at her.

"Ok, let's take a break and go walk." I say.

We start walking on the track.

"So, what do you want to ask me?" I ask Stella.

"I need some advice about someone I like." She says.

My heart kinda hurted a little. I got kinda jealous that she likes someone, and I have feelings towards her that I haven't even got the chance to say yet. But, she's my friend, and I support her no matter what.

"Who?" I ask.

She looks at me.

"I'm not telling yet." She replies.

"Oh, ok." I say.

"I really like her, but I don't know if she feels the same way about me, or not." Stella says.

I look her in the eyes.

"Anyone would be lucky to have you. When you are ready, tell her how you feel." I say to her while locking eyes.

Im mad that I am so jealous, but I haven't felt this way about someone in a long time. But, I want her to be happy with who ever she likes, so I will reject my own feelings and support this.

Even though I want her to date me.

"Thank you Hope." She says to me.

We head back to my house.

Stella decided to binge one of her shows. And I headed to the Salvatore school after I dropped Stella off. So I could work on some extra credit & also switch out my books for new ones. I'm really into romance books right now.

Later that night...

After I finished my extra credit, I decided to go visit Josie. It was about 7 at night, so I knew she was in her room. I walked down the hall to go see her. I heard her talking, so I stayed in the hall for a couple minutes.

Josie POV

"So Hope has a crush on Stella?" Lizzie asks me.

"Yeah." I reply.

"Why would she have a crush on that thing?" Lizzie says.

"I don't know, but I'm not going to get in the way of Hope's happiness. Plus Penelope just asked me out earlier today." I say to Lizzie.

"Great, yet another spawn of Satan. You just know how to pick em Jo." Lizzie says.

"Listen up smartass, I can date who ever the fuck I want to. You don't have a good track record either, so who are you to say?" I exclaim to Lizzie.
