After checking on his surroundings once more, and confirming the integrity of the muffiliato charm, the ginger haired boy started walking in one of the seventh floor corridors, just opposite the intricate tapestry of Barnabas the Barmy with some trolls, his intent clear and pulsing loudly through his thoughts. His acquaintances, three boys and two girls- all dressed in their Hogwarts dress robes-  observed him quietly as he walked the corridor three times untill a large wooden door appeared in the centre of the blind wall out of nowhere.

Fred Weasley entered the room of requirement, closely followed by the company of his cousins- James Potter; the eldest of the Potter children, who was in seventh year of Hogwarts just like him, Rose Weasley; the eldest daughter of his uncle Ronald Weasley, who was in sixth year of Hogwarys, Louis Weasley; the youngest son of his uncle William Weasley, who was the only one wearing yellow coloured dress robes, and was in his fifth year, Hugo Weasley; the younger son of Ronald Weasley, sibling to Rose Weasley, and one of the brightest students in here, he was currently in his fourth year, and Lucy Weasley; the youngest child of his uncle Percy Weasley, who was also in seventh year with Fred and James.

Silence filled the huge room as the cousins settled one by one in the various large squishy arm chairs that appeared everytime in the exact numbers as the occupants of the room. The room was circular and humongous, had windoless wide walls, and on their walls hung multiple tapestries depicting all the four houses- the scarlet of Gryffindor, the ember of Hufflepuff, the turquoise of Ravenclaw and the green of Slytherin. A large fireplace stood in one of the corners of the room, and there were multiple wooden shelves with glass doors that habitated multiple small artifacts and books.

It had been years to the day when the room was found for the first time by Molly Weasley- the eldest daughter of Percy Weasley- when she had been in her fourth year, and hence the  room's striking alikeness to her own Gryffindor common room was unmistakable. Since then, the secret of the 'come and go room' as they called it, had been passed through every children of the Potter-Weasley clan; it was a secret they never shared with anyone outside the family.

"So any new developments?" Lucy Weasley broke the silence after a while, her eyes roaming around every member of the room and then finally settling upon Fred Weasley, the eldest and also the most sensible one as everyone thought. And yet, he was also the one who liked to prank his friends and family a lot- Fred with his friends James Potter and Alice Longbottom were close to a nightmare when they came together to pull pranks.

"No, I am afraid not," Fred Weasley replied after a while, one of his hand playing with the threads of the letter 'F' embroided upon the arm of his chair, his thoughts drifting to his younger sister, unknowingly. All of the chairs in the come and go room occupied similar emboridery, the cousins' initials present over the arm chairs of the room, just like their family Christmas sweaters- curtsey of his sister Roxanne Weasley.

"What in the bloody hell is the Ministry of Magic even doing? I don't fucking understand. It has been a week! A week! They're all just fucking morons-" James almost growled, his hands massaging his temples in circular motions. It was evident from the shadows underneath his eyes, that he had been restless and sleepless the last couple of days.
