Entry 4 - No U

[A way to pass the time]

At Neo Eden Tower, one Shiori Takamiya has just finished reading her Al-Qur'an with a pile of finished paperwork on her desk when someone decided to knock on her door.

*knock* *knock* *knock*

Shiori- "Hm? You may come in"

A rule that is established by Shiori, so no one would catch her when doing her daily prayer is that everyone has to wait for her reply if they want to enter this room.

Marzuki- "Excuse me, Shiori-sama"

Shiori- "Oh, Marzuki? What's up?"

A kijin with long-straight pink hair that is held with a headband, and a pair of magenta eyes, wearing a kimono that just accentuate his androgynous appearance has entered the room. He is Marzuki, the leader of the Kijin in this nation and a vice minister.

Shiori- "Oh, you can sit down first, I'll be with you shortly"

She proceeds to quickly sort the documents that need to be handled immediately and the ones that can take the longest to be realized and then sit down on the couch across from Marzuki.

Shiori- "Is this meeting about a new event proposed by Rimuru or something?"

Marzuki- "No, nothing like that, I just want to know you for a bit better"

Shiori- "Oh... informal meeting?"

Marzuki- "Yes, you could say that"

Shiori- "You can just call me if that's the case and I will go to your house immediately"

Marzuki- "And interrupt your day? I could never do that"

Shiori shook her head with a smile on her face as look at Shuna who are standing behind her.

Shiori- "Oh yeah, do you want to play a game with me? It's boring having to fast and space out in my office with Shuna here"

Shuna- "Do you not like my company, Shiori-sama...?"

Shiori- "No, no, I didn't say that, please sit here with me, Shuna"

Shuna- "Please, excuse me"

Shuna sits down beside Shiori on the couch and lets herself feel comfortable.

Shiori- "As I was saying, I want to play a game with the three of you"

Marzuki- "What is it?"

Shiori- "It's called UNO, it means "one" in one of the languages in my world"

Shuna- "It sounds interesting! What should we do?"

*knock* *knock* *knock*

As Shuna asks her question, someone decides to knock on the door, earning a groan from the people sitting on the couch.

Shiori- "You may come in!"

A purple-haired kijin entered the room, she is Shion and she seems to be carrying some news with her.

Shiori- "Please sit down beside Marzuki, we're about to start our game"

Shion- "A game?! Can I join?!"

Shiori- "Sure"

Shion sits down beside Marzuki and Shiori took a deck of cards from inside her uniform and begins to explain the entirety of how the UNO game is played while emphasizing that they can't use their skills in this game because that's cheating, this rule is mostly for Shiori herself.

Shiori- "Okay! Now that all of you have caught up, let's begin the game!
