Chapter 6

Time for dinner. We all sat down with Mrs. Guzman and Mariano. Mainly all she and Abuela wanted to talk about was Mariano's proposal to Isabela and how it would be "so good for the Encanto". '....Well then let's hope tonight is not a horrible disaster' said Mrs. Guzman chuckling 'to a perfect night' said Abuela. I noticed that Mirabel and Dolores were having some kind of staring contest. Dolores whispered something in Camilo's ear and he transformed into Mirabel then Bruno tandem ended up with his eyesight on two different spots on his face.

'Camilo fix your face' tio Félix said as Camilo shook his head back to normal. Then he turned to whisper something in my ear. 'Mirabel found Bruno's vision and it shows Casita cracking because of her'. I started choking on my drink so loudly that Abuela turned to me in concern 'YN are you alright'? I managed a nod. Then I turned to whisper to tio Félix and the chain went on until it reached tia Julieta. She looked at Mirabel with a confused and worried look. 'Mirabel' said Abuela 'the cream'. 'Pa the cream' tio Agustín passed the cream with his hands shaking so did Mirabel Isabela just looked at them like they were crazy and carried on with dinner. Everything after that was a blur.

Mirabel got nervous and sped up Isabela's proposal. Bruno's vision was under the table and found it's way to Abuela, Dolores blurted out that Mirabel was in Bruno's vision and that we were all doomed. So here I am now climbing stairs to Luisa's room hoping I can help at least a little bit. 'Luisa it's Pa' tio Agustín said. She didn't reply but I could hear her sobbing through the door. Coming through the door I could hear a soft 'go away'. 'Luisa we want to help' I said holding the door handle waiting to come in. 

'I shouldn't need help I'm the strong one'. 'You don't have to be the strong one alone'. Tio Agustín said. 'We're all here to help you through it' I said in a quiet voice. I opened the door to see Luisa sitting on her bed. Even if she was covering her face with her hands I could tell she had been crying. 'Aye Luisie, you don't have to worry about any of this your Abuela is going to find a way to fix this'. Maybe she should try apologizing instead of yelling for once I thought instead I said. 'You don't have to carry it all'. 

'Agustín'! Tia Julieta yelled from down stairs. He gave Luisa a quick kiss on the head and turned to me with a look that asked me to stay and comfort Luisa I gave him a small smile and a nod. I sat down on the bed and for a few minutes only silence filled the room. 'Sorry I'm not really good at this comforting thing' 'it's fine I like the company and plus I don't think you've ever had anybody comfort you either'. I opened my mouth to say something but closed it when I realized that she was right. 'Well you don't have to worry about me try having someone fun for a change' she said in a voice that sounded like she was the one who was supposed to be comforting me. 'I could say the same thing to you' I said with a kind of a sad smile. 'I'm used to it and it's going to take more than one bad day to knock me out but your still young and happy you need to hold onto that as long as you can especially since the argument with Abuela'. I groaned.

'Did I say something wrong' she said looking confused. 'No, it's just everyone keeps bringing up the fight with Abuela and I don't know I'm tired of listening to it being brought up'. She nodded in a way that I could tell she was thinking. 'Kind of like how your tired of all the heavy lifting everyone makes you do' I said urging her to continue the conversation. 'Maybe I do carry too much sometimes'. 'Don't worry about it and if you ever need help' I said flexing my biceps 'these puppies are ready to roll'. She grinned and then gave me a hug. Her hugs are the best.

                                                            Mirabel's POV

Ok well guess what Bruno's alive and living in the walls. Not weird at all but now he's just told me to go away since he doesn't know why I was in the vision and he can't have another one.... Wait a second 'You wish you could have seen more, so see more so see more' I said bursting into the room 'have another vision'. 'Oh no no see I don't do visions anymore'. 'But you could' but I won't' 'You can't say the of the is on your shoulders the end if our fate's up to me, me says have vision maybe it'll show me what to do'. 'No I am not doing it and this is final'. 'What if I could find something that could change your mind........or someone. 'Wait here'! I said in an exited voice, leaving him with a confused expression on his face.  'The only part is how am I going to manage to convince her' I said mumbling to myself. 'I mean she hates me'. This is going to take one heck of an apology I thought.
