Books, clothes, and medicine

After getting dropped off at in town the woman said to me "stay safe sweet pea" and drove off me waving a goodbye to her. Then I had to focus on the task at hand. So I went to the closest store near me and seen it was and seen it was closed and was I looked through the window and seen it was a small pharmacy "well how convenient." so I went to the back of the store and seen a back door and seen someone come out of the door and throw a trash bag in a dumpster and they went back inside turned off the lights came back outside and walked off while the door was closing but I snuck in and there was no one the was in sight so I started to grab stuff some pain killers, bandages, rubbing alcohol, cotton swobs, even some vitamin c and d pills, and as I stuffed the items in my bag but it thought about gauntlet and how to hide it form public eye and seen some bandages on the selves and decided to cover the gauntlet in the bandages and know one would know. After doing that I wenwent over to resetter took some money out and felt bad about it but it is what it is. So I left and now I had to get some different clothes and because the clothes that got on isn't in the best condition so I started to look around for a clothing store so I walked around and looking for clothing.

After finding a clothing store that was still open and they still open so I went in and started to look around for some clothes that will help me and I start to talk to talk to myself "let see. maybe. yes that can work out. now for Jeans. Hmm ah here we are. These are perfect." One of the workers seen me and came over and asked "do you need some help with anything" I thought for a second and asked "do y'all have some hoodies" the worker thought for a moment and said "we do they are over by the boots" and pointed were to them so I went over to boot and grabbed a pair and seen a light red hoodie and grabbed it and went over to the cash register but as I was I seen a duffel bags and sewing kit there as well so I also grabbed one of those and paid for my items and luckily had enough and I had plenty leftover had to get pay for it. I thanked them but before I left I asked the cashier "is the library still open and where is it at" the cashier responded "yes it still open and it by a school You can't miss it" I thanked them left for the library.

When I got to the library I seen it was still open and I went inside and I went over to the front desk to ask the librarian for some help. "Excuse me but does this library have books teaching people English." The librarian started typing on the computer and spoke to me "we have in so in the back let me go get it for you she went in the back and was gone for minute and seen a pile of books on a cart at the end of the desk and I started to look through the pile and seen a book with the title "gun smithing and explosives for idiots" I looked around and seen on one around so I bent down and put in my duffel bag and at that moment she returned and said "wait where did he go" I raised my hand air and said "I'm still here just tiring my shoe." She giggled and said "oh my bad, but here you go" she put the book on her desk on and I got back up and looked book. It was thick book with leather cover on it and it gold title reading "English for beginners." I opened it up and there was lesson plans and stuff like. Then I spoke up and said "do you have any books on survival she pointed to a book shelf in the back of the store and said "there should be some in back over there" I thanked her and made my way over the and I started looking for a book and seen one that looked out of place I picked it up and open it up and seen that it was actual survival book that I was looking for and I was beginning to making my way to front desk when my gauntlet started glow even though I had it covered pretty well so I kind of hid in the back and unwrap the gauntlet and the gauntlet started to blink slowly off and on this confused me so I just wrapped it back up and the it stopped blinking so I grabbed the book and went over to the desk and the librarian seen me and asked me "did you find what you were looking" I started thinking about and I said "was I do believe I did thank for your help." She just waved it of saying "it just my job" she prosed to check the books out the she said "do you have a library card on you" I sighed and said "sorry ma'am I don't have one because I buy my books most of the time." Hoping she buys it then she says "oh really, hmm then you pay for these books and I will consider it a donation and you can keep the books" after hearing this I felt relieved to hear so I pulled out all the money out of my pocket and gave to her and said "since it a donation then I will give a little more for the actual price." I gave her the money and then I put the books in one of my bags picked both bags up and left. And thought to myself at least my home town is doing just fine at least but I wandered how long I was gone for and seen someone come towards me I stop them and ask them "excuse but I forgot about the to days date so would you kindly tell me." They opened up there phone and showed it to me "it February 1st 2022" I thanked them walked away and I thought to myself "well it it already been a year I can't really believe it, but it is what it is." So I made my back to the spaceship.
