The Prey

So much has changed

I felt the sun hit my face waking me up and was expecting to see Hashori there but she wasn't there and started to feel bad a little bit and was wondering what she up to. I let out a sigh and got up and seen that there was a lot of work to do if this place needs to be cleared out then I realized that uncle Chris is nowhere to be seen and so I started made my way to town.

After walking into town I seen that it has changed quite a bit there new stores and shops there a new courthouse and even more men in suits and I seen some of the stores that I robbed a while back still working and the city pool hall was still open and so I went in and seen that still the same as it was all them years ago and I went in and sat the bar that was there and waiter was under the counter and just said "we're not open yet can you come back later" and I responded to him "I'm not customer I was told that I could get some info on a person" the waiter got up from underneath the counter and he continued with working behind the counter and preparing for the day and he just responds to saying "I might know I have been working here for about five years, so might know depending on who it is." I looked and seen that on one was around and said "I'm trying to find the where bouts a person that goes by the name Chris Schaefer." The waiter just paused for a second and just say to me "unfortunately the person you are looking for is dead." I was shocked about this and I said with a little bit of sorrow voice "do you know how he died." The waiter just waved it off and saying "he died in his sleep and but had a smile on his face." I let out a sigh of some relief but still had some sorrow in my heart and I thanked the waiter and left in hopes that I figured out what happened in the past few years.

After some dig in the past few years it turns out that this town and my country was do good for it self it was like there wasn't a thing wrong, this made me happy but it felt like I was in a different world because it changed so much I started having second thoughts and I felt like I was worthless here so I went home and try get in contact with the hunters and try to convince them to join them again.

When I got home I was tired and want get some sleep but something felt off when I entered the house it was like there was someone or something in here with me so I went in my old room and got on my gauntlet and my mask on and then I heard glass break in other room and seen what looked like tear gas grenades on the floor and I admittedly went back in my room and I heard the grenades go off and gun fire started riddling the house and the only thought that went through my mind was how was I going to get out of here and I seen my bedroom window and so I opened the window and jump out and made beelined straight into the forest and started to make a game plan get in contact with the hunters while trying to get away from those who are trying to kill me. Then I started hearing dogs barking and so started hitting buttons on my gauntlets and it started sending out a destress beacon and then I felt something hit me up side my head and my body went limp and last thing I was a pair of steel toe boots and everything went to black.

I awoke form someone splashing ice cold water on my body and which caught me off guard and I heard deep voice that grabbed my attention I he said "it time for some explanation to here boy."
