Past Lies; Rei

You unpack your stuff, and carefully put your guitar in the corner of the room, exited to explore, and be rid of your father, and past.

"Lunch is ready!"
Yelled Julieta for everyone to come.

You look out the window, and feel the breeze coming in, you take a breath, and head downstairs. You slide down the bar for the stairs, and spot Pepa, crying. Her husband, and Dolores trying to comfort her. Was it something you said, she looked pretty sad after talking to you, but you decide to not be in their business, and leave as they all head to the table.

You end up sitting right in front of Pepa. As you stare at her, still asking yourself if it was something you said, she looks you in the eye, for a few seconds, before Abuela announces my arrival.

"Alright, everybody! This, is Rei, I have been informed. She will be staying here for a few weeks, and if further notice, she will be moving into the nursery with Mirabel. Rei, please."
You jump at the sight of your name, you fall out of your seat, as everyone stares, and crawl behind Abuela before you quickly stand up, and wave shyly.

The room fills with whispers;

"Is it really her?"
Isabella whispers to Luisa

"Rei, like Rei? Could it be?"
Camilo whispers to Dolores.

"After so long, is it true?"
Pepa whispers to Felix.

"Ahem, it's nice to meet you, Rei."
With your hands behind your back, sweating.

"Yeah!"
Augustin says

"Uh- Yep!"
Pepa adds.

"Yes!"
Isabella smiles nervously.

"Now, lets eat!"
Abuela says with a nervous smile.

You sit back down and scoot forward more, and pick at your food.

"Rei?"
You jump at your name.

"Are you okay? You're just picking at your food."
Julieta says worriedly

"Oh, yeah thanks."
You look back down at your food.

"Are you sure? Do you not like it? I can make something else if you don't!"
Julieta smiles.

"No, no, it's delicious! It's nothing."
You take a huge bite.

Once you finish your food, you head back upstairs, put a jacket on, grab your guitar, and head downstairs.
