Bakugou Katsuki is that kind of guy that doesn't like to depend on someone else other than himself. If something has to be done, he does it alone and the team he's working with can gently fuck the hell off. He's way better working without a bunch of peace and love-fanatics-idiots stick to his ass, thank you very much.
He's young, but really experienced and strong for his age, a total pro-hero.

"Shut your mouth and go fuck yourself away from me." is the first thing he says that day, as one of his colleagues opens his mouth to speak.

"But they're strong and they have that fog, we need to stay close to each other, if we separate we're done. You can't make it on you ow-"

"I said," Bakugou growls. "SHUT UP. There are probably people out there that need help, if we stay together we might not be able to save someone. We split up, we cover a larger ground, we get more people. I don't know why they attacked here, but I'm for sure not letting anyone dying today." he glances at the men around him with a determined look. "Adding to that, thinking about dealing with y'all makes me wanna throw up. Ya gunna get in the way and, even if I will be glad to hit one of you with and explosion, I'm pretty sure it'll have consequences I don’t wanna suffer. Just stay away from me and we'll be fine." the blonde boy states, as a wide grin grows on his face.

The other heroes lightly shake their heads, but walk in the opposite direction without another complaint, beside a whispered "He's totally insane, man."

Even having to fight against an army of villains, whose quirk is just produce an harassing quantity of thick smoke – or fog, whatever –,  captained by an ugly ass dude with some kind of super strenght that, in some way, manages to work even without touching the victims, doesn't make that 17-year-old time bomb hero collaborate with his colleagues, called to help him out.

Except for...
Of course. Except for him.
Kirishima Eijirou, his best friend. The only person Bakugou allows to work with him.

They're a chaotic duo, to say the least, and only listen to each other, but at least they rarely have the possibility to fight side to side, since their agencies are far from each other.

Though, this time Kirishima gets the call too.
"A crowded neighborhood has been attacked by unknown criminals; they're particularly strong. We're trying to reach as much heroes as we can. Even if it's not your area of competence, we need your help. The more, the better."
That's what they have said, and who is he to refuse?
Plus, he just knows that Katsuki hasn't refused either, so he'll have the chance to see him, it's always a good thing.
But when he arrives at the place and asks for his friend, he's told by a disgusted frog-man that Bakugou has already took a stand.
Eijirou pinches the bridge of his nose. "He just can't wait, can he?" is what he chuckles before running to the battlefield: a wide, thick, dark fog bank.
And it's really thick, he barely can see where he's putting his feet, careful not to step on someone.

"Hey...! HEY YOU! Yeah, you with the red hair, come here, we need help with these ones." a tall man with a bandana and a large green hat yells at him. He's with another hero – he recognizes Cementos – and they’re trying to carry five people; three of them are unconscious. So he runs towards them, greets the concrete hero, and takes one of the injured on his back.

"I'll bring him to safety, no worries." then he remembers. "Have y'all seen Bakugou? I was looking for him..." he asks, but the answer is negative.
Of course. That stubborn dork wouldn't let anyone get near him during an assignment.

A few minutes later, Kirishima is laying down the man on a stretcher, then he turns towards the fog and runs into it again. He needs to find his best friend. He can't seriously make it out of there alone, goddammit...!
He's wandering around in the dark, when he bumps into Tokoyami – darkness is his strenght, after all –, he asks him how he's doing, he knows nothing about Katsuki, he tells him to be careful.
He even has to use his quirk to take down a wall, because he has finished into a road with no exit.
