Well this is an unexpected turn of events(Phobos X Reader)

(A/N: Ooookay yeah i said theyll take a while XD Im bit on a ...writers block so to say rn so yeah i had 0 idea what to do next for a couple of days. Hope this more plotlike chapter makes up for it. BY THE WAY! If you have suggestions for this, suggest away, hell knows i need a few plot points and inspirations XD Just keep it SFW, i do not do smut and this sure as hell wont turn into a NSFW Fanfic)

Ever since you had this weird nightmare you wanted to find out what it was about. Sure, it was a dream, but it felt like...so much more than that, as if it had a meaning. Hell you dont even know half of the people that way that were in that dream and yet they appeared. And why would you have fears of the director dieing? he wouldnt die. hes a god. He cant die...right?

You would sneak around Hofnarrs office when he wasnt there to find out some information however that was...hard..since the room was supervised by camera, you had to stay after hours again with the god emperor so you could make sure cameras are disabled to search the laboratory, not that you mind spending time with the Emperor, quiet the contrary. But you cant tell him that you are STILL stuck on that stupid bad dream. 
You didnt have alot of luck since most things were locked up, just some thrown away notes of debunked theories of that "Other Place". 

Heres the thing you could find out about this, "Dissonance" and "Other place" are interchangeable, they are basecly the same thing under different names. And that appearantly this energy is invisible, you cant exactly see it until its contained...but thats about it, nothing more, nothing that brings you closer to answers.

Now you were just standing infront of this billboard you set up at home, trying to connect points. No, nothing makes sense, nothing connects, so many pieces are missing and without them there are no concrete bridges between events. Now....you DID consider just asking Hofnarr or Phobos what this is about, afterall you were in the meeting, you asking them may not be a bad idea as long as you dont bring up that weird dream again. 
It was late, 1 am, and you had to work the next morning, you might as well just go to bed, hoping this nightmare doesnt come back.

You arrived at the Laboratory, however things seemed off... more dimmed than usual and Hofnarr had this weird aura around him, kind of creeped you out.
"...Hofnarr?" you asked out in a quiet voice, to not startle him.
"Y/N! I DID IT! IVE RECONTAINED IT AND THIS TIME IT DOESNT RADIATE!" The scientist exclaimed as he physically shook you back and forth
"Woah woah, calm down. Recontained what?" You tried to get him to elaborate, you....did not like this, not one bit. "and what do you mean by...radiate?" your first thought was radiation of course....your second one was that other place stuff you read about...
"THE DISSONANCE! I RECONTAINED IT Y/N!" Hofnarr shouted out as you got out of his grasp and backed off a little. It confirmed your fears. That Dissonance stuff what was not only affecting him..but you too.
"Oh thats...great." You spoke out, trying to excuse yourself, to get away from him, he scared you. "Oh uhhh! ...Im pretty sure..the....THE DIRECTOR ASKED FOR ME AGAIN YOU KNOW HOW HE IS!" you suddenly bursted out. You..were a bad actor when under high amounts of stress
"YEAH GO! GO! IM SURE YOU 2 HAVE ALOT TO DISCUSS ABOUT!" He said rather excited.
"Yeah..alot...n stuff...may take me the entire day...BYE!" and with that you excused yourself from the office, making a run to the upper Nexus break room, walking over to a corner and huddling in it. Now, normally people like you didnt have access to this break room as its for Nexus Core military only but the director gave you special permission to use it if things get to...hectic. 
The nexus commanders in the room just looking at you through their one yellow lense, confused at first and about to beat your ass so you would go away but they recognized the pass hanging from your neck, they decided to leave you alone.
