Hermione hid her sniggers behind her hand as a hopeful Anthony Goldstein strutted into the Courtyard with a blue rose twirling between his nimble fingers.

He idly checked the smell of his breath and fixed his hair before passing Harry a cheeky smile. Ron snorted and Hermione suppressed her giggles. Draco was sitting on the opposite side of the Courtyard narrowed his eyes at the Ravenclaw.

Harry tried not to glare at them and hoped that he didn't look frustrated as Anthony cleared his throat.

"Roses are red," He started, "Violets are blue." Harry fake smiled at him. "And I have to say, that you look wonderful-u!"

Harry made a face between a smile and a wince. Anthony grinned, "Hope you liked the poem. Wrote it myself." He handed Harry the blue rose which resembled his robes.

Harry swallowed the disappointment at the color of the rose, "Th-Thanks." Harry muttered under his breath. Ron snorted again and burst into laughter. Hermione tried to glare at him but couldn't fight the smile off her face.

"Ron!" Harry huffed and elbowed him on the shoulder.

"Sorry! Sorry!" He coughed and went back to giggling silently. Anthony looked a little let down. Nevertheless he passed a short glare at the red-head and turned to Harry with a small smile.

"Will you go out with me?" Harry bit his lip. "Can I tell you by this Sunday?" He shrugged.

"Sure." He nodded and kissed his cheek before prancing back to the castle.

Draco bit the inside of his cheek in annoyance and went back to reading his book as the laughter of Weasley and Granger echoed in the Courtyard.
