(GETTING RE-WRITTEN) A crow in the night (Killermare)

Chapter 8

I knew I was asleep yet it felt so real.
I felt my chest burn and my leg feeling numb and sore.

I felt the weight of something inside of my chest.
It was ripping me open.

When I tried to open my tired eyes, I saw a shadow.

I woke up after feeling something a sharp pain in my ribs.

I woke up in the middle of the forest. I looked around before remembering why I was here.

I checked my leg and saw it was fixed. Still having faint scars from the trap.

I noticed it was night.
I stumbled up and walked towards my house, not caring if I had any homework.

I saw a figure out in the forest. Was it a wanderer?

"Hey you!"

It looked at me with bright turquoise eyes.

"Who are you?"

It just walked over to me. Staring me in the eyes.

I felt scared for a strange reason. I had knives, so why?

"I've never seen you this close before"

It sounded distorted. I noticed tentacles on its back.
It wrapped one around my throat, I felt suffocated. I tried to get my knife but I fainted.

(Time skip)

I had awoken. That same figure was on top of me.

"So you finally woke up?"

I struggled under its weight.

"Keep away from me.."

It got off of me, It stared me up and down.

"You've already proven yourself worthy of taking me entirely" it said every single word in an uncertain tone.

I thought about what they meant and looked around, I saw I didn't have my shirt on. I saw a large 'X' on my chest, I was bleeding violently.

"JESUS-"

I screamed as I noticed 4 unfamiliar figures suddenly summoned around me.

I hit my head against the head of the bed.
I was feeling extra sleepy so I just dropped in sleep.
