zenitsu's pov

“uhm so i..” i exhaled and inhaled

i could feel Tanjiro staring in my soul

“You what?”

“nevermind that.. i just uh- i don't know”

“well uhm- zenitsu..”

“i don't know what im trying to say here okay? im just- just... I DONT KNOW ANYMORE! IM NOT EVEN SURE IF I SHOULD TELL YOU THIS”

“zenitsu”

“BUT LIKE, I FEEL LIKE TELLING YOU THIS, YOU KNOW?? ITS KIND OF EMBARRASSING THOUGH BECAUSE--”

“zenitsu i think--”

“BECAUSE--BECAUSE I... I DONT KNOW BUT.... WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO ME LAST NIGHT??? HUH?!!”

“ZENITSU WILL YOU LISTEN TO ME?” He semi-yelled at me

“YEAH, WHAT IS IT??”

He sighed

“Zenitsu, i think that you should... run.”

“.... what?” I tilted my head to the side

“I'm serious Zenitsu, im getting.. hungry. i haven't ate anything, my last meal was like a few days ago”

Tanjiro's pov

i was seriously getting hungry. i could jump on him anytime now and just devour him.

ahh, hold back Tanjiro you can do it, you can eat someone else not him.

mngh.. my stomach hurts so badly

ughh, no no no no no no, just... don't lose control.

“T-tanjiro..” i heard zenitsu call out my name

and that made me snap for some reason, i jumped on him and pinned his arms above his head, gripping tightly on them.

“AH! TANJIRO NO NO NO NO! TANJIRO PLEASE LET GO!” he cried out

i didn't know what i was doing, i couldn't control myself, my body was moving on its own

i was looking down at him, at his neck especially. I was drooling which made Zenitsu even more scared.

Zenitsu started to tear up, turning into crying, turning into a severe break down, he was begging me not to hurt him at this point

“TANJIRO PLEASE I--- I DONT WANNA DIE, I BEG YOU PLEASE!” he was trying to escape my grasp so desperately

“Calm down, it's not gonna hurt for too long” i smirked

“Tanjiro please! Please let me go! Have mercy on me!”

“shut up, i'll make it quick”

“NO NO NO NO NO”
he was shaking his head left to right, and he was squirming around too

i leaned closer to his neck and-

“OW!”

he hit me in the crotch with his leg

“mngh.. damn it..”

“LEAVE ME ALONE!”

“i'll make sure you're gonna regret that..” i frowned

“NO IM SORRY! IM SO SORRY! PLEASE DONT HURT ME! I'LL DO WHATEVER JUST LET ME GO!” he cried out

“let me bite you, just one bite, i need to- no. i have to”

Zenitsu was struggling and crying so much

that made me finally snap and i looked at him

“Zenitsu! I'm so sorry!” i immediately got off of him

“I'm so so so sorry! please forgive me! it wasn't me, i swear! I was just so hungry and lost a bit of control! i promise it won't happen again!”

Zenitsu looked at him, still crying

I crouched next to him and wiped his tears, apologizing non stop.

“I-it's fine Tanjiro, just please don't ever do that again!”

I hugged him
“I promise i won't do it again!”
