(Yeay i managed to write a new chapter xD sry for the long wait guys, but i honestly get lost of ideas)

An hour later, Golden Guard was already back in the Emperor's castle. He hadn't heard from the coven leaders since than.

Towards evening he intended to drop by the meeting room again. He was still pondering the words of the Plant Coven leader... But he wasn't sure how he felt about it, as he was very divided on himself... He slowly developed his own opinion, which visibly differed from that of Belos. The only question was what would be better for himself... So caught up in his thoughts, he didn't realize he'd stopped. He heard his little palismen chirping quietly, which finally woke him up from his thoughts...but before he could respond to his little friend, a voice behind him made him wince. "Golden Guard!", anywhere he would recognize her annoying high pitched voice.

He took a deep breath before turning and looking down. "Kikimora," he just said, not sure what she wanted...but he already knew it couldn't be good. "I heard that Emperor Belos is disappointed in you~" she giggled evilly and folded her arms behind her back. Hunter inwardly widened his eyes. Was it that obvious...? "I'm not sure if you're supposed to be the head of the Emperor Coven...I guess someone else would be better in that Role" she sighed almost innocently, but the boy knew her well enough to see her true nature. He was silent, speechless, also shocked somewhere... Did his uncle think so too....?

Before Kikimora could say anything else, the boy suddenly heard another voice. "Hey! Stop annoying him! That's my job!" The voice came from behind him, so he turned around again and luckily saw Darius. Softly, inaudible to the others, he whispered the older one's name. Kikimora eyed the Abomination leader silently before walking away silently, but Hunter already knew that this wouldn't be the end. "Thanks..." he finally said when he was sure that Kikimora was gone.

"Hey, don't worry. Besides, I like you more than her now." This made the boy smile, because it really meant a lot to him to hear something like that, and Darius now saw that too. "But don't get stupid thoughts.", he warned him then. Hunter nodded, still smiling. "Don't worry...I won't..." Darius smiled a bit. "You are the right hand of Belos, don't let someone like her bother you." "I won't," the younger one assured him. "Good, because I don't want to get my hands dirty." Hunter widened his eyes in surprise, was that some kind of statement that Darius would otherwise take care of him....?

Before, he never really had an opinion about Darius since he always seemed like a drama king, but now... Hunter was glad he got to know Darius better...and the other Coven Heads meant more to him than they probably ever would have if he hadn't gone on the mission with Darius back then.

He felt like he could talk to all of them if he wanted to...he'd never had anyone like that before...it was something new...and it felt so incredibly good.
