It had been a week since (Y/n) had been hired and they were doing really well! They even made friends with the shadow lady that hangs around the pizzeria! The mechanic work that the animatronics need was usually pretty easy, so, most of the time (Y/n)'s boss was trying to find stuff for them to do. Whether that be running down to the warehouse to get parts for the animatronics or just tearing apart an old, broken down arcade machine to figure out what's wrong with it, (Y/n) always got the job done in a timely matter.

Today was no different. (Y/n) stepped out of Parts and Service with Chica following shortly after. "How's the legs feel?" They asked, placing their hands on their hips.

"They feel great! Thank you, (Y/n)," Chica chipped before running off to find her friends. (Y/n) smiled and walked over to their boss's office. Since they always got done with their tasks so early their boss asked them to come down to the office to get some more stuff to do.

As soon as they were in front of the door they could hear their boss calling them in. "Hey, boss," (Y/n) said as they closed the door behind them.

"Howdy, (Y/n)," the short man said from his desk. "I'mma be quick with this, I need you to check for and possibly get some parts for Foxy from the old warehouse."

"Where's the old warehouse?" (Y/n) asked, fearing that it was a stupid question. The warehouse they usually picked the parts up from definitely didn't look old.

"It's on the same road that the other warehouse is on; you just have to go to the end of the road," their boss replied. "The parts are those control fuses. I thought the ones I had ordered would come today but alas they didn't." (Y/n) nodded and started to leave. "Oh! (Y/n) one more thing!" They stopped and turned back to their boss. "Stay off the catwalk unless you absolutely have to be on it and take something to defend yourself—just in case."

"Alright," (Y/n) replied. After leaving the office, they immediately went to the parts and service room and grabbed a heavy flashlight. They looked around for anything else they thought that they might need before deciding to leave.

They could see the newer warehouse in the distance. (Y/n) had to stop at the end of the paved road and take a deep breath. The dirt road into the forest beyond made them uneasy. At least it wasn't muddy, they thought.

(Y/n) drove slowly down the road in the company truck. The road looked as if it hadn't been used in a couple of years. Bouncing in their seat, (Y/n) thought about how much they hated this.

The truck came to a stop in front of the old warehouse. "This looks ancient," (Y/n) said aloud, getting out of the truck. Several of the windows were broken or boarded up and vines were growing everywhere. (Y/n) had to step back and ram the door to even open it.

Coughing from the dust, (Y/n) started to look through the boxes in hopes of finding the fuses. (Y/n) wondered why the warehouse was abandoned anyways. A lot of parts and stuff for the pizzeria was left behind—wouldn't they think of taking it? (Y/n) was more surprised that it hadn't been stolen.

After looking for about an three hours, (Y/n) sat down on the floor. They had searched through at least seventeen boxes labeled "foxy" and still hasn't found the fuses. Groaning, they threw their head back and slammed their hands on the floor. Dust flew up around (Y/n)'s hands and got onto their flashlight. "I about need to have a mask in here," they wiped the dust onto their jeans and got up from the floor.

CRASH! (Y/n)'s head flew to the direction of the noise. "Hello?" They called. Cursing could be heard in the distance. Thinking someone had stuck in and gotten hurt, (Y/n) ran over to where the cursing was coming from.

Once they got there (Y/n) saw that it wasn't a person at all, it was an animatronic. "H-Hello?" They stuttered out. It was a tall bunny animatronic, like Bonnie. Why was it on?

"Uhm, hello?" (Y/n) stammered out again.

The large hunk of metal looked over to them. "What are you doing here?" It asked, it sounded accusatory like (Y/n) was there to take it away.

"I'm just here to get parts for Foxy. Better question why are you here?" They answered, taking a step back. The thing was huge and, if it wanted, could easily crush them.

"I was left behind," was all it answered.

"Oh, uhm...What's your name then?" (Y/n) asked.

The animatronic tilted its head and gave (Y/n) a weird look. Despite the grin plastered on its face, (Y/n) felt a little uncomfortable.

"They call me Springtrap. What about you, love?" Its weight shifted and moved towards (Y/n).

"...(Y/n). Nice to meet you."

"Nice to meet you too, dear."

"So, uhm, why were you left behind?" (Y/n) asked, the rabbit was getting closer and they couldn't decide whether they liked that or not.

"I was forgotten in a storage room," he answered. It seemed simple enough.

The large animatronic ambled towards (Y/n). He towered over them. He could probably tower over anyone, (Y/n) thought.

"Let's get to know each other, dear."

After their first meeting (Y/n) was using their time off to go and see the bunny animatronic. Springtrap gladly told them stories of the past and was happy with the newfound company.

"So, when was the model for your body made? It looked pretty old," (Y/n) commented.

"It's old because it's the one of the firsts made, love," Springtrap answered. (Y/n) perked up and asked for more information. Springtrap gladly obliged.

"Hey! Maybe I can fix you up sometime and get you out of this dusty, old warehouse?" They excitedly said.

"Do you really want to do that, love?" Springtrap questioned. He's not usually met with the amount of kindness (Y/n) has given him. It's new...It's nice.

"Yeah! Why not? It's better than you being by your lonesome while I'm away," (Y/n) said.

Springtrap's eyes lit up. "You sure?"

(Y/n) nodded.

Hey! I'm so sorry this took forever and it may not be that good. I started procrastinating and got addicted to Apex too. That's fun. We're also not gonna reread and edit this so I hope it makes sense.

Hope you guys have a lovely day!
