chapter 12 Confession

Later Diavolo and Mammon we're getting close to the castle and as they were walking through town the paparazzi and reporters Were bugging them and Diavolo saw it was bothering Mammon with what they were asking and the flashing lights

So Diavolo took off his jacket and put it over Mammon covering his head and face and covering his ears with his hands as they walked to the castle.

It was quite since what happened they haven't really spoken. Mammon didn't really know what to say but Diavolo kept smiling and making sure he was ok. All Mammon could think about was what Diavolo told him.

Anyway once at the castle Kammon immediately ran over to Mammon and Mammon picked her up hugging her as she hugged him even tighter

Mammon : I missed you to!"

Barbatos : what happened to your other clothes?"

Diavolo : we went swimming!"

Mammon : against my will....off a cliff...."

Barbatos : .....why?"

Diavolo : ..... It's a secret! Anyway it went well the meeting anyway"

Barbatos : good"

Kammon : you smell like a lake?"

Mammon : ....yeah anyway you hang here with Barbatos for a few. I gotta go shower"

Kammon nodded and then he put her down and walked away and so did Diavolo.

About an hour later as Mammon was in his room drying his hair after getting dress Asmo MC and Levi burst into his room.

Mammon : what the hell!?"

Levi : why did you drag me here Asmo!?"

Asmo : sorry! But Don't you wanna know!?"

Levi : ....kinda yeah?"

MC : have you checked Devilgram or anything yet Mammon?"

Mammon : no why? My phone got wet?"

Asmo then walked over with his phone and showed him. And his face immediately got red in embarrassment.

Asmo : it's everywhere! You guys kissed!"

Mammon : no we didn't!"

MC : well he kissed you but anyway what made him say all those things to you?"

Mammon : ....it was nothing ok! I Don't want to talk about it...."

Levi : your lucky Lucifer's phone is broken. I think he would be pretty mad if he saw it. knowing how he feels about this. It's no secret"

Asmo : so does he loves you or something?"

Mammon : what!? No! It wasn't like that at all!"

MC : then you should probably explain that to Lucifer"

Mammon : yeah yeah I will. Can you guys get out?"

Asmo : your no fun"

Mammon : and your nosey!"

Asmo : I have to be it's my job as your brother"

MC : anyway see you later!"

After this they walked out and Mammon Sat down on his bed thinking.

What if Diavolo did like him. And that's another reason why he said all those things? And showed him his mother's garden. Why he kissed him.

The very thought freaked him out it obviously couldn't be true it was just Diavolo being Diavolo right?

Now the thought was stuck in his head along with a new thought. He wondered why he felt so different when Diavolo said those things and kissed him.

It was a feeling he never felt before that he couldn't explain but didn't want to lose. But also felt wrong and right at the same time. He felt so confused and conflicted now.

He didn't know what to think he couldn't think straight at all. about anything his brain was like a wild fire.

Later in night time Mammon was walking around his room thinking about this and eventually left his room to get something to eat and as he was walking down the hallway he bump into Diavolo.

Diavolo : are you alright?

Mammon just starred at the floor and asked not wanting to look at him while asking.

Mammon : .... what did you mean with what you said? Why did you kiss me?"

Diavolo : I.... I'm sorry......I know I shouldn't have and I crossed boundaries.... I'm sorry if it made you un-!?

Mammon : you didn't!.....I...I mean you didn't.... I'm just wondering....."

Diavolo : I Don't know....I just wanted you to know I really meant everything I said. I wanted to just make you feel better and take away your problems....."

Mammon : those things you said....my brother's got this idea that you love me or something....."

Diavolo : ......."

Seconds passed and Diavolo didn't answer and the sudden realization hit him like a truck. And he looked up at him and said.

Mammon : .....you do Don't you?"

Mammon saw how panic and scared Diavolo looked right now and saw he even looked guilty.

Diavolo : I do love you more than
Anything. more than Devildom itself......I realized that when you were taken.... suddenly nothing else mattered all that mattered was saving you no matter the risk.
Without hesitation and thinking I walked in there knowing it was a trap I was ready to give up my crown if that what it meant to save you. You were my first priority Devildom was second my life was second...."

Mammon : y-

Diavolo : everyone thought it was a fake but I lied to throw them off. All I could think about was protecting you. You were the only thought in my mind....I couldn't imagine you not being here.... Because you truly are a gift....I was horrified when you wouldn't wake up....I thought you died and it would of been my fault Because I wasn't trying hard enough.....I do love you I really meant everything I said no matter what happens what I said won't change...."

Mammon didn't know what to say he couldn't believe it. That Diavolo loved him and was ready to risk everything for him even put his own life on the line for him. Because he meant the world to him.

He couldn't understand why he was so important or why anyone would feel this intensely about him.

And Mammon couldn't help but start crying once again but he wasn't sad or upset. But he couldn't stop it no matter how much he tried wiping the tears away.

He then felt Diavolo put his hands on his face and wipe the tears away with his thumbs and then saw him smiling at him but also crying to.

Then suddenly Diavolo hugged him and said.

Diavolo : ....I'm sorry I keep making you cry...."

Mammon : ....well...I guess we're even...."

Mammon was hugging him back not letting go and he didn't really want to ever let go. Right now everyone felt alright.
