Mammon and the beast (On Hold For A Bit)

chapter 34 It's All over...

Diavolo's Father was fighting his own Brother and as they were fighting Diavolo's father kept glancing at his son's dead body if he only arrived sooner. he could of stopped this if he just stop his brother that day.

And as he was fighting he started to remember something. Something his wife told him before she died.

After Diavolo's mother was attack by Diavolo's uncle. His father rush his dying wife back to the castle where he hope Barbatos would be able to help her and save their child.

But once they got back and Barbatos tried to help all he could do was deliver the baby prematurely who was a healthy baby boy despite everything. there was no saving the Queen of Devildom. Her wounds were fatal she was dying.

So after everything Barbatos got The King and brought him to his wife to spend the last few moments he had left with her before she passed away.

And as he walked into the room he went to his  dying wife's bedside and saw her smiling weakly holding their newborn son.

Diavolo's Mother : .....it's a boy..... he's even smiling.... I'm glad I get to see that...."

Diavolo's Father : I... I'm sorry I didn't pro-

Diavolo's Mother : don't blame yourself....I know you tried.... please know I'll always love you.....and our son...."

Diavolo's Father: do you have a name for him...."

Diavolo's Mother : I....I think Diavolo.... he's going to grow up to be a great King....just like you...."

She then hugged Diavolo and kissed his forehead while letting out some tears crying that she would get to see him grow up.

Diavolo's Mother : please take care of our son....make sure he's always smiling....let him know how much I love him.... please protect him...."

Diavolo's Father : I promise I'll protect our son....I love both of you...."

Diavolo's Mother : I love both of you too..."

After this they both kissed each other one last time and then Diavolo's Father picked up his son as she finally pass away.

He wasn't sure what to feel but he looked down at his son who seemed so happy and like a little angel unaware of the tragedy happening around him.

He had to keep the promise he made to his wife he would not matter what. it was her dying wish.

Diavolo's Father suddenly threw him to the ground at the edge of a cliff ready to him kill him seeming very angry.

Diavolo's Father : THIS STOPS NOW!"

Diavolo's uncle : heh....you won't do it! "

Diavolo's Father : YOU TOOK EVERYTHING FROM ME!! YOU LEAVE ME NO CHOICE!"

Diavolo's Uncle : your really going to kill your only family left? After everything we been through. You never gave a damn about that kid so why try and act like you do now! Not like she is watching!-!?

Suddenly Diavolo's Father stabbed his brother in the chest with his own arm and said looking at him.

Diavolo's Father : goodbye brother...."

Diavolo's uncle : .... I'll be back....I always come back....."

After this Diavolo's Father pushed his brother off the cliff and watched him Fall to his death.

After this he looked back at everyone and then up at the sky whre a giant green glowing clock face was ticking and right over the castle.

Diavolo's Father : I see you got the message"

Suddenly Diavolo woke up in his bed gasping for air. he then quickly sat up and immediately flinch in pain and saw he was all bandage up and back at the castle in his room.

Diavolo : h-BARBATOS!?"

Barbatos had suddenly walked in and smiled at Diavolo slowly walking over to him as he was also still injured from everything. Anyway as he walked over Diavolo got him himself to get out of bed and stand  up  and immediately hugged Barbatos.

Diavolo : h....how are you....how am I?..."

Barbatos : this wasn't the first time I've died I can die but it takes time for me to come back. It's a spell I put in place a very long time ago.

And about how you are and everyone else. As soon as I woke up I became aware of the situation that everyone died and mess with time to bring everyone back like nothing happened. But it would leave everyone injured still and weaken me for awhile. "

Diavolo : everyone is ok?.... Mammon...."

Diavolo suddenly let go and quickly despite being hurt hurry to go find Mammon to see if he was alright.

And as he was rushing down the hallway he saw Mammon who seemed to be also looking for him and quickly ran over to him as did Diavolo.

And as soon as they got to each other Diavolo quickly kissed Mammon and Mammon kissed him back and then they hugged each other extremely happy that both of them were alive.

Mammon : how are we not dead!?...."

Diavolo : Barbatos fix it.... everything is fine now.... everyone is alright...."

Mammon : .....please don't do that again.... please....."

Mammon started to sound serious and upset and was hugging Diavolo tightly and Diavolo knew what he meant and said reassuring him.

Diavolo : don't worry....I won't ever leave you....I promise you that"

Mammon : I wonder when everyone else w-

Suddenly everyone else started showing up and hugging each other especially Mammon's brothers except Lucifer.

Levi : I swear I thought my life flash before my eyes!"

Satan : did something happen?"

Diavolo : Barbatos fix everything some of us did actually die but we're brought back.

Mammon ; where's Lucifer?"

Barbatos then walked over and said.

Barbatos : he's resting still in a sleeping state he is alive but he was very badly injured still so I had to put him to sleep to allow him to heal. It should only be for a few days"

Mammon : where are the kids?"

Barbatos : they are with Simeon who's with Luke comforting him. "

MC : why?"

Barbatos : I had to remove his hand it was not only broken beyond anything but poisoned and infected. He's having trouble with that. But I should be able to help him with that once he's healed"

Diavolo : Barbatos you mentioned you became aware of what happened but how?"

Barbatos : why don't you ask him"

Barbatos then pointed downstairs and that's when everyone saw him and Diavolo froze not believing what he was seeing.

Diavolo : F-Father?"

Diavolo's Father : hello son"
