Like the title says, this is a random question.

Is you could be any inanimate object, what would you be and why?

The main reason I'm asking this is because I had a strange dream last night in which I was a book. The beginning of my story was alright, a bit sad, but it got better. Then the middle of the story was mostly sad. Lots of pain that would overload your feels. Towards the end, it was starting to get happy-ish, but also included flashbacks towards the painful middle. The book ended at cliffhanger. The person (not me) who was reading the book (me) in the dream stated that they've been rereading that same book for the past year.

So it was basically my life if it were a book, except without giving away any details... if that makes sense. The main thing that I take away from the dream is that I have to stop dwelling on the past. It's time to read the friggin' sequel already.
