"Okay, now let go of me". I said as I held my six year old student's back
As he was trying to consecrate on staying calm so he could be able to float on his back.

"I'm scared Miss Rora, I don't wanna try it anymore." He said and closed his eyes tightly scared of me dropping him.

"Hey, open your eyes". I asked him and he did so, I saw the fear that was flashing through his eyes as he looked around.

"Look at me and repeat after me okay ?". He nodded his head okay.

I breathed in and out and he copied me before I told him to close his eyes again which he did and count to 10.

He started counting and I waited, I noticed his breathing was slowing down and he wasn't panicking anymore.

"You got this ron, trust me."

After a while when I noticed he was fully calm I told him to let go which he hesitated at first but did.

"Now kick your feet just a little bit".
He did so while staying calm.

"Let your head fall back a little more". I said noticing his head was positioned up to high.

After a minute I remove my arms from up under him and watched him float on his own making me smile.

"Now I want you to calmly open your eyes and don't panic. Your doin' so great Aaron."

"He opened his eyes and looked around with his eyes before a big smile came across his face.

"I'm doing it miss rora I'm doing it!". He said, with excitement.

"You are Aaron!, I laughed as he started moving his feet moving across the water.

This was my job, a swim teacher for the youth, kids and I loved it. I always loved the water, growing up in a house by the beach we would always go out for swims and surfing it was so much fun watching the sunset breathing in the fresh air, just letting your mind run free. I loved all of it

It was one good memory I had with my mom before everything turned into shits.

It was one of the reasons why I always walked the beach at night to clear my head and watch the waves move ever so slightly.
