"Is it because of his nose?"

Yes.

"No."

"Is it because of his ear?"

Yes.

"No."

"Is it because of his fingers?"

Even so.

"What's with the body parts? No!"

"So why do you like him?"

"Who said I like him?" I responded too quickly.

"Your face does."

"What makes you say that?"

"You are staring at him."

My eyes were on Marco who was currently waiting for Elle to show up for dance practice.

Oh, what am I doing?

I snapped my eyes back into reality. "Do you come here every day just to bug me?" I asked the Uno kid who shot me with a lot of questions.

He casually shrugged. "I have nothing else to do."

I began to explain. "I was just making sure he was doing fine. I mean that guy has been standing near the machine for thirty minutes now. Where the hell is Elle anyway? She's late. If Marco was late she would've gone mad." I tell my thoughts out loud. I wasn't sure why I was sharing it with Romeo, but I didn't question it either way.

"And why do you care so much?"

"Enough with the nosy questions!" I huffed, frustrated with him bugging me. I began carrying out some tokens and handed them to him. "Here, play some games, shoot some zombies, I don't care."

"Won't your boss be mad at you for giving free tokens?" Rumble gave me a worried look.

"Don't worry, it's on the house, I bought the tokens. Just go away." I shooed him.

"Sweet!" I heard him whisper to himself before he jogged his way to the machines.

Thirty minutes turned into an hour later and Elle still hasn't shown up, which makes me wonder if she's going to show up at all.

Finally, sometime later, my shift ended. I got off my seat and went to the backroom to change from my uniform to my normal clothes. I went back out and made my way to Marco to see how he was doing.

As I walked up to him, his eyes met mine and a smile crept up on his face but then his phone tinged. He pulled it out from his pocket and the phone screen lit. A pissed look began appearing on his face.

I frowned at his look, "What's wrong."

I expected Marco to tell me what was wrong but instead, he held up his phone in front of me, showing his messages to Elle.

The Get It Girl - Sorry, not in the mood for today's rehearsal. Something came up anyway. Let's practice next week, yeah?

"She texted that to you just now?"

Marco lowered his phone. "I just don't understand why she didn't just tell me earlier. I've been waiting for two hours. I could've been doing some more important stuff." He told me. "But I don't know. Maybe she didn't have the time to tell me. Maybe she was just really busy and-"

"Hey, hey." I edged closer. "You like her or not, what she did was not cool. She could've told you that she might not come today but she chose to tell you that now. Don't let it slide. You're gonna have to talk about this to her later." I folded my arms across my chest.
