Cyrus and Kurapika made small talk and got to know each other while they waited for the storm to pass, sharing one of the fruits Cyrus bought on shore. Their conversation, however, was interrupted when they got word they were summoned to the captain's cabin. Fumbling off the hammock and then holding out a hand to Kurapika to help him up, Cyrus brushed the nonexistent dirt off his clothes and picked up his stuff before heading up the cramped, narrow staircase of the ship. Both he and his new companion walked in silence to the captain's cabin. Passing a window that overlooked the deck, Cyrus peered out, noting the storm had gotten ten times worse while he had been down below. The harsh winds and grey skies left no room for his lovely celestial lady to shine, and the young man made a mental note to spend more time with her at his evening prayers today.
