"where am I?" Germany looked around him, he's standing in a middle of nowhere. Everything is black here, Germany is as confused as the readers do, he walked around the place for a moment. only to realize that...nothing. There is simply nothing, this is just a never-ending void.
Oh- I'm in a dream aren't I?
He asked himself while walking straight, left, right, and somehow, up and down.
Where is the exit???
He started to get ticked off, Germany walked faster, and faster, his footsteps pattering on the non existent ground below him. And eventually, he went too fast to the point where he couldn't be any faster, he went straight and immediately bumped into nothingness and fell.
"LET ME OUT OF THIS VOID!" Germany shouted to the void. He stood up and starts to kick, hit and stomp on the air of the void until suddenly, what felt like a lightning struck Germany.
He screamed, "Okay! OKAY! I'M SORRY!" he shouted to the void once more, but the pain doesn't stop, everything hurts.
Then out of nowhere, a loud explosions, gunshots and screams. Germany tried to close his ears but to no avail. The bloody screams and noises sounded like it came from his own skulls.
Slowly, he realized, the void was slowly shifted into a a city being under attack.
"G-Germany! Please stop this! T-this isn't you!" a person shouted to a country who was flying. Wait, she looks familiar....Tanya?
Germany inspected her closely, and yes; the human was one of the kids that had bullied him for almost his whole school life until she stopped and China became the one who bullies him instead.
The country's gaze landed on the human's and lift one of his eyebrows, "what did you say?" he smiled, he looked like he'd become insane. The human was horrified, but slowly, stood up to look brave.
"This is not the real you, I may have bullied you for all this years," the human winced at her own sentence, she continued. "But I do know that what I did was wrong. But please, stop this, stop this war Germany. I know you never wanted this..." she finished confidently.
The country who's called 'Germany' eyed her up and down, then laughed.
"Reeeeally Tanya? Is that all you have to offer to me?" The country's cackles getting darker every step he took towards the girl. "Did you really think sentences like that will stop me?" the country laughed once more, the stabbed the human by her stomach with his bare hands. She fell down to her knees, coughing blood.
crap, crap, crap! I have to help her- Germany approached the person to help her get up, but it was too late.
Tanya's legs immediately froze into an ice and got slashed on the vocal chords with what seems to be a spear with mist coming out of the edge. She gargled with blood before she went limp and her body falls awkwardly.
The killer landed beside the human corpse "hah, what an idiot." he said to himself.
Germany looked at the killer. Germany somehow knew, that he was a country, with gold wings, the country's gaze went around his surroundings, absorbing information and details with just his sharp gazes. Germany found himself knowing who it belongs too.
"Classic humans... full of ambitions. She should be cowering like the others, yet here she is, laying helplessly." the country said at the other one. The one who scared the human, has red background with black and white stripes and he wears an eyepatch with a symbol that looked like an X.
Germany shivered. That looks like dad's symbol party!! How is that possible-?! The country rolled his eyes, "Don't waste my time, just go on with the plan." he ordered the other one ignoring his words, he grumbled, "fine fine FINE." The hooded country spun and took off.
Germany looked closer at the country and inspected him closer. 'Doesn't look like dad' he thought, it's a different person. 'more like...me...?' he gasped when he realized, he looked exactly like Germany, apart from the flag.
th-this is got to be a nightmare, r-right?! he looked around him to see humans helping others escape while a few countries are defending the humans. W-what?? W-what's happening?! Germany then heard a group shouting something to the country.
"Germany! Stop this! Indonesia! Why are you guys doing this! Snap out of it" Germany knew who that voice belongs to. 'America?!' Germany scanned the group. Canada, America, Neko, Japan, Russia, Malaysia and Philippine.
"America be careful!" Canada grabbed America by his shoulder, now the country that was supposed to be Germany, threw something towards them and immediately it exploded.
Germany cried out as he watched his friends disappeared under the boulders, the same time as the other him yelled, "God, how many times I explained everyone? The old Germany everyone knew is GONE! Only ME, the NEW ME is here! And I'm here to finish my father's mission! And that is conquering the world!"
Nervous, Germany looks at the other him who was taking deep breaths. Once he stopped, his gaze met with Germany's.
Does he see me?! Germany thought, almost instantly the man in front of him replied. "Yes, if you can't see correctly, I am looking directly at you. Face to face."
The German gulped, "Who are you...?" this seems to amuse the person. He wrinkled his nose, "Really? Think, Germany. Think and Analysis me with your high intelligence." he tapped Germany's head.
"I- I really don't know-! You look like me, but I'm not a murderer! Who are you?!" Germany demanded again. The person crouched and made a mocking disappointed expression. "But you will be. And I'm saying nice to meet you Germany, I'm you. Well, future you."
Germany felt like he'd been trapped in his worst fear. "Are you mad?! I would never murder a single person, let alone do this- madness!" Germany waved his hands around them. Thousands of human dying, buildings on fire, and countries attacking their own allies.
The other Germany shrugged, "I told you, I'm you, in the future. Some things change drastically, Germany, you will never know. But believe me or not or whatsoever, you do not have the power to change this destiny, someone else has it." he pat Germany on his head and walked away.
"W-wait! Come back! GERMANY!" Germany shouted at the other Germany and the other stopped "It's The New German Empire for you." He said coldly before everything turned black and Germany fell onto an endless void.
Germany woke up, sweating. He looked around and realize he's back in his room. He lay back in his bed.
What was all that...? is it a normal dream...or is it telling me something?
