[31] The Same Outcome

The running of tap water was the first sound Takemichi recognised when he time leaped. Just a moment ago, he was at the park with Hina, Chifuyu and Naoto... but now, he was dressed in a suit in a fancy bathroom. As he was busy trying to figure out where exactly he was, the sound of church bells made its way to his ears.

The boy stood still—was this what he thought it was? Was it his wedding with Hina?! Takemichi tackled the bathroom door open and was about to head towards the bells, but someone appeared in front of him before he could get so far. "You're late! Geez! The wedding reception has already started!"

It was the love of his life looking, well, alive and beautiful.

"Hina...?!" He couldn't believe she was right in front of him. After all this time, he finally completed his main goal! Once again, tears had began to form in the corner of his eyes. "Huh?" Before he could bask in the presence of his girlfriend, she tugged at his arm and pulled him down the hall.

"We can't make the groom wait any longer, can we?!"

"Groom?!"

"Today is Hayashida-kun's wedding ceremony! How many times do I have to tell you?"

"What?! Hayashida-kun?!"

"Come on, be quick!"

"Wait, hold in! I can't process any of this yet!" Hina pushed him into the ceremony hall, closing the pot behind her. "What's going on?"

"You're late, Takemicchi."

"Hurry, grab a seat."

Those voices... he recognised them. The announcer had declared the entrance of the newly-wed couple; it was Pah-chin's wedding! And everyone... everyone from Toman was sitting at the nearest table. They survived. They're all laughing so happily.

"Takemichi-kun, what's wrong?"

"I just can't believe it."

Takemichi caught up with all the news and what happened in the past few years. Everyone was quite successful in what they did and they seemed to love what they did. It was surprising to see even Kazutora present.

After the reception, Takemichi had met up with Naoto and was thankful to see his lively face once again. "Mission compete, Takemichi-kun. We've reached the world where my sister is alive." He looked to his right and watched Hina catch the flower bouquet being thrown by the bride.

He then spotted Draken and Chifuyu a few metres behind him, that was when he realised that he's been forgetting something very important. "By the way," He asked the two, "where's Mikey-kun and [last name]-san?"

Draken glanced over to Chifuyu and grinned, "Mikey and [last name] are currently managing a restaurant overseas."

"It's been a huge success after they opened! They really wanted to come over today, but they're both busy and their work load held them back." Chifuyu added on.

"I see... so they're together! I knew they would make a power couple. That's so cool." Chifuyu couldn't help but cringe at Takemichi's words.

It's been a few days since then. Takemichi found out that he and Hina were going to be wedded within three months. He had gotten fitted for his suit with Mitsuya and was now just sitting around in his disgusting apartment. No one had changed much... which he was really happy about.

But despite all the good things that have happened, he couldn't help but think about you and Mikey. It was fairly unexpected of you two to go off overseas and start up a restaurant. He wondered if you two were a real couple... if so, he would be really glad. You two finally found love.
