Jin couldn't believe what he was hearing. And when he looked across at Tae, he looked just as confused as him.

He then hears the king chuckle lowly and says, "You both must be so shocked. What kind of man will allow another man into his marital bed? Let me explain my reasons.

First off, I have gotten to know my sweet husband very well since we've wed. And he deserves to be happy. I think having a young child will make him very happy and fill the emptiness he my feel being in a strange palace.

Secondly, I trust my captain with my life. And if I had to choose anyone who's child I could raise as my own and love just as much as if he were my flesh and blood. It would be my captain."

When he was speaking, Jin kept his eyes on him and thought he could sense a different type of affection for him than just plain admiration for his captain.

Taehyung looks up at the king and says, "But your highness. What you're asking is such a big thing. I mean.. I would be making love to your husband. What if.."

The king stops him and says, "I know how crazy it sounds. Trust me. I have thought about this for a long time but I don't see any other solution.

I expect you to try as soon as possible. I recommend tonight. I will have a place ready for you. I will go with you and wait in the room outside. That way it won't arouse suspicions."

Tae then looks at Jin and asks, "Your majesty? How do you feel about this?"

Jin looks at the king before replying.

"I am fine with it if that is what the king wishes."

The king claps his hands excitedly and says, "Then it's set. Tonight we will begin phase one of our plan."

He is too busy clapping to see the little glances between his sweet husband and the captain.

After their talk, the king escorts Jin back to his room, then he and Tae walked away.

When Jin sat on his bed, he was still stunned about what was asked of him. He can't believe that his own husband would be so repelled by him that he would be unable to perform his husbandly duties. And ask another to impregnate him.

"What is it your majesty? Did something happen?" Jimin asked him.

He goes to sit next to him and Jin tells him, "I don't think I'm supposed to say anything. But honestly, I can't keep it to myself."

He then looks at Jimin dead in the eyes and says, "You have to promise me that what I'm about to tell you, doesn't go beyond these walls. Do you understand? It's a matter of life and death."

Jimin gets nervous but nods his head and says, "I promise. I will take your secret to the grave."

Jin then begins to tell him of what the king asked him to do.

"Oh my.. and did you agree to it?" Jimin asked.

"Ye.. I did.. It's not like I could've refused. He's the king."

"I understand difficult everything must be. But at least you can get to be with your beloved. With your husbands permission I might add." He giggles.

Jin smiles at first, but then adds, "There's just something weird about it though. I mean, I can understand why he's asking us to do this. Because he doesn't feel attracted to me. But his reasoning for why he chose his captain was because he feels he will come to love his captain's blood child."

Jimin looks at him curiously and asks, "What exactly are you thinking?"

Jin doesn't say anything but he has his own theories about why. Jimin can sense that he's thinking the same as him.
