Sixty thousand years ago─It was a day same as always, peaceful and filled with warm smiles. Beautiful, singing of the birds. Breezy and warm weather.

And also, a day that is edged into my memories as the darkest day of my life.

Rimuru's pov-

Another peaceful day in Tempest! Can you believe it? Today, we're going on a 'picnic'! It's been forever since I've had the chance to kick back and just hang out with everyone.

" Time to make the most of it!" Brimming with excitement he shouted.

" Rimuru-sama! " I could hear familiar voice's calling me from behind. Diablo and shion same as always full of joyful
smile. After such a long time we're doing this again. They must be very excited indeed.

Though I had hoped milim and the rest could join us as well. Time has changed, they have their own responsibilities to take care of.

I recall asking guy to hangout with us one time. His response to that was very weird.

" I'm teaching misery and rain how to properly please their Master. " he said.

I'm not sure what he meant by─
" To properly please their Master. "

I'm guessing he was talking about the cake recipe Shuna shared with misery and rain a week before that.

Dagruel and Dino are working under milim. Leon had given away his Demon Lord status and had died as a true hero.

As for Luminous, She went to eternal sleep after the death of her dear friend Hinata Sakaguchi.

A/N: Hinata Sakaguchi didn't wish to be Immortal and live as a ghost. So, she had willingly given up her life in the arms of her friend, Luminous Valentine.

I suppressed my emotions and gave a warm smile back to my subordinates, who had be diligently waiting for me.

As soon as we arrived at the picnic spot, Shion rushed to me with sparkling stars in her eyes and then she said.
