The day after Rimuru dealt with Roswaal and gave him a new name—Royus—things had started to settle down.
Now named by Rimuru, Royus had become his personal butler. The act of naming not only increased his power but also his loyalty, and his personality had begun to resemble Diablo's.

"R-Rimuru-sama, it's time for you to wake up. Have you forgotten about our plans? Today is the day of the royal selection." Royus said, his voice steady but tinged with concern.

" Or perhaps would you like me to cancel it and show you around the city? "

Rimuru, still half-asleep, groaned. "Hmm... what? Yes, sure—WAIT! NO, WE'RE GOING!"

Damn, that was close... Was that charm magic?

<< Yes, Master. I granted Royus the skill Lord of Charm James Charles. It is a downgraded version of the Temptation King Azazel skill. >>

Oh—
J-James Charles... How interesting...

"Did you disable my immunity just to show off that skill, Ciel-san?"

<< Indeed. I wanted to see your reaction, and I am fully satisfied. No regrets. >>

"Oh, is that so? Look, I know I'm immortal even without my skills, but please, don't do that again!"

<< ... >>

Is she mad at me? Wait, why am I the one playing the victim card here?!

With a sigh, Rimuru let the argument drop. He quickly prepared for the day and stepped outside, where his carriage awaited.

Instead of a traditional horse-drawn carriage, Rimuru had swapped it out for his personal one—a grand, sleek design pulled by an artificial True Dragon he had created using his own leaking energy. The dragon, a female, had been named Velzome. She was like a daughter to him, and while he wouldn’t normally use her for trivial tasks, he decided to show off his power for the occasion.

"Father... is that you?" Velzome asked, surprised.

"Yes, my child. It’s been too long. I’m sorry for making you wait. I have good news for you. Would you like to hear it?" Rimuru said, smiling warmly.

"Yes! If it’s from you, Father, it must be something wonderful. What is it? Tell me, Papa!"

Hearing her call him “Papa” filled Rimuru with joy. It had been so long since he’d heard that.

Rimuru pulled something out of his pocket dimension.

"Hoooo... Father!! You got the milk! I’m so happy! " Velzome cried, tears of happiness streaming down her face.

So this is what it feels like to be the father who came back with the milk, Rimuru thought, bittersweet memories surfacing. Sadly, my father never did... Well, enough of that.

"Velzome, would you like to join me on a trip today?"

"Yes, I’ll do whatever Father desires."

"That’s my girl. Let’s go."

After a heartwarming reunion, Rimuru and Velzome took off toward their destination, chatting as they traveled through the skies. Their arrival caused a commotion, with Royus looking especially proud.

In the midst of the silence, Emilia spoke up.

"Umm... So, Ri-Rimuru—no, Rimuru-sama—what are you? You’re certainly no ordinary being..."

"Ah, just Rimuru is fine. As for what I am... I suppose I can tell you. I’m a god from another universe and the King of Monsters."

Emilia’s eyes widened in disbelief.

"And, if you’re curious about my goal..." Rimuru continued, "I want someone who will stay by my side, always. I’ve already chosen. Would you like to be my wife?"

Emilia burst into laughter, assuming he was joking. Rimuru simply smiled.

Soon, they arrived above a castle.

"Papa, where should we land?" Velzome asked.

"Let’s not reveal you to others just yet. Return to the dragons’ dimension for now."

"Understood."

As Velzome disappeared, Rimuru noticed Emilia falling from the sky. Without hesitation, he caught her in a princess carry. She blushed furiously.

As they landed, a massive gate loomed before them, slowly creaking open. Inside, more than 200 people stared at Rimuru, whispers spreading through the crowd.

"She must be a goddess or an angel! Look how beautiful she is!"

They think I’m a goddess? Rimuru thought, exasperated. Well, let them. I’ll break their delusions soon enough.

As Rimuru planned his next move, an old man approached and directed Emilia to join the other girls.

The event progressed slowly, but Rimuru’s attention was caught by someone at the gate—a purple-haired man.

"Hey, you with the blue hair," the man called out. "What are you? You’re no normal human."

Abnormal strength? That was my weakest kick in this body... If I’d used my real form, the destruction would’ve been multiversal.

"Who knows" Rimuru replied. "What do you want?"

"Nothing much. Let’s meet again soon."

And with that cryptic message, the man left.

Later, in Rimuru’s grand new mansion, Ciel revealed the day’s final goal: to win Emilia over completely.

That evening, Rimuru invited her to the rooftop, where they sat under a starry sky.

"Emilia, I have something to say..." Rimuru began, smiling.

"Y-Yes, Rimuru?" she replied, blushing.

"I want you to become my wife," he said confidently.

"Me? Your wife? I’m not deser—"

Before she could finish, Rimuru leaned in and kissed her.

"Just answer yes or no," he said softly.

Blushing deeply, Emilia whispered. "Y-Yes."

As they floated in space, Rimuru slid a beautiful ring onto her finger.

"This ring is made from a rare metal I found in space. " he explained. "It holds a world inside it, just like you are my world."

"Me? Your world? That makes me so happy," Emilia said, tears glistening in her eyes.

"Of course. But don’t forget, you’ll have to pay for it. " Rimuru teased with a grin.

"H-How? This seems priceless."

"Don’t worry—I’ll take every single penny’s worth from you." he replied, smirking mischievously.

And with a snap of his fingers, they teleported to a private room.

To be continued...
