"And why not?"

Both Jenny and Jungkook turned towards the voice.

"Ta..Taehyung wh..what are you doing here?" Jenny asked in fear of being caught.

"That's not the answer to my question Jenny. I asked you why Jungkook can't come to the fresher's party?" Taehyung asked in a stern voice.

"Hyung it's ok. I wasn't going to go anyways." Jungkook said trying to calm the situation. The last thing he needs is for Taehyung to pick a fight because of him.

"Kookie it doesn't matter if you were going to go or not. What matters is you being treated unfairly. And I for one won't stand for it." Taehyung said leaving no chance for talking.

"So I ask you once again Jenny, why isn't Kookie invited to the fresher's party. He is a fresher and it's a "fresher's party", so then what's the problem?"

By now a small crowd had already formed around them. Everyone trying to gather as much information as they can to start gossiping. Everyone knows about Jenny and Taehyung, the students even has bets placed to see if Jenny gives up on Taehyung and decides to move on or Taehyung will finally give in and say yes to her. Some ships them and some hates Jenny but either way they are excited to see a new drama happening in front of their eyes. All the Bangtans stood at a distance, not bothering to get involved. They know Taehyung will handle it.

"Taehyung you are humiliating me and that too for what, for this slut."

The word didn't leave her mouth and a sound echoed throughout the corridor. Taehyung had slapped her. Everyone froze around them. There was pindrop silence. Jungkook had tears in his eyes. The Bangtans were shocked too. They never expected Taehyung to actually slap her.

"You slapped me for this.."

"Don't you dare complete that sentence Jenny. I warned you yesterday to not say shit about him. I guess you didn't take my words seriously. Now I hope I have made myself clear. Listen here everyone." Taehyung said grabbing everyone's attention.

"The fresher's party for this year will be held at the 'Trance' this Friday. Everyone is invited. You are welcome to go to Jenny's party or you can came to ours, the choice is yours." Taehyung said.

This time it's not just the students even the Bangtans had their jaw on the floor. For the students it was a once in a lifetime opportunity. I mean we are talking about a party thrown by the Bangtans themselves. You have to be a fool to let this chance go. The Bangtans on the other hand was cursing Taehyung in their minds.

"You are doing wrong Taehyung, you'll regret this. You have only seen my love till now but you haven't seen my hate. Don't make me hate you Tae." Jenny said angrily.

"I never asked for your love neither I care about your hate. You are free to feel however the hell you want. But the moment you hurt any of my friends all bets are off. And right now my friend circle include Jungkook too. You hurt him and you are hurting me. I am sorry for slapping you but if you repeat this shit again then you'll see my devil side." Taehyung said and turned around facing the crowd.

"And that goes to everyone else too. Jungkook is our friend. If anyone speaks bad about him or give him a hard time you'll be answerable to the Bangtans. You all know me. You know what I do to people who hurt my friends. So you better heed my words."Taehyung finished addressing the crowd.

Jungkook was frozen on the spot. Not only Taehyung slapped a girl because of him and now he is throwing a party for the whole college just because he wasn't invited to it. He could feel everyone's stares on him. He knows he is the current hot topic. He can only imagine the rumors that are going to spread. Jungkook isn't scared of what they are gonna say about him, he just doesn't like the fact that he caused trouble for his friends again. But it still didn't stop the butterflies dancing in his tummy when Taehyung called him his friend and stood up for him in front of the whole college. He feels protected.
