Crazy Love [Taekook]

New feelings

Taehyung and Jungkook sat on the park bench watching the sunset casting a beautiful golden glow on the pond making the water looks like golden sand. It was a beautiful sight to behold but to Taehyung it held no candle to the beautiful smile adorning Jungkook's face. Jungkook felt the stare on him. He turned to his side only to see Taehyung looking at him intently. Jungkook felt shy all of a sudden and pink tinted his cheeks. And that just made him look even more beautiful in Taehyung's eyes. Taehyung cleared his throat before speaking.

 "So uh, why didn't you tell anyone if you were scared of horror movies. You know we could have watched something else." Taehyung asked trying to clear the awkwardness. 

"Uhmm, everyone was excited to watch it and I didn't want to be a spoilsport. Besides I thought I will be fine since everyone was there, but I guess I was wrong." Jungkook said feeling embarrassed.

 "Next time speak up alright. There is nothing to feel shy or embarrassed. We all have things that we are scared of. It's nothing to be embarrassed about." Taehyung said cheering him up. 

"What scares you hyung?" Jungkook asked being curious because as far as Jungkook had known Taehyung, he gets the impression of someone fearless. 

"Well I haven't really thought about it, nothing really scares me to be honest atleast nothing superficial like bugs or horror movies." Taehyung said jokingly nudging Jungkook with his elbows. 

"Aa hyung you said you won't make fun of me." Jungkook said pouting. 

"When did I say that? All I said was there is nothing to be embarrassed about, but that doesn't mean I can't make fun of you." Taehyung said teasing him.

 "Hyunggg." Jungkook started whining. 

"Ok Ok bunny I won't make fun of you alright. And to answer your question, what I am afraid of is a feeling, the feeling of losing someone close to me. That's what scares me the most." Taehyung said with a far off look in his face. 

Jungkook could understand that fear, even though he has known Taehyung and his other hyungs only for a few days, he can't even imagine losing any of them. It scares him to death too. So he can only imagine how Taehyung must feel like. He has been with them his whole life after all. Jungkook suddenly remembered something that he had been wanting to ask Taehyung. 

"Hyung if I ask you something will you get angry. You don't have to answer me if you don't want, it's just it's been bugging me." Jungkook said fidgeting in his seat.

 "What is it Kookie? I promise I won't get angry. You can ask me anything." Taehyung said encouraging Jungkook to speak. 

"I saw you on the first day beating up a guy and I was just curious as to why you did that." Jungkook asked not looking at him. Taehyung was surprised. He didn't know that Jungkook had seen that. He doesn't regret what he did but he doesn't want Jungkook to see that side of him. The last thing he wants is for Jungkook to be scared of him like he is looking now. 

"Bunny look at me." Taehyung said as softly as possible. "Jungkook raised his head and looked into Taehyung's eyes. Taehyung could see fear in Jungkook's eyes and it crushed him. 

"Kookie are you afraid of me now?" Taehyung asked almost afraid to hear the answer. 

"What, no hyung I am not afraid of you, I am afraid of making you upset. I wouldn't lie, I was scared of you in the beginning  so I thought to stay away from you. But fate had other plans and it brought me right to your lunch table thanks to Namjoon hyung. But you weren't how I thought you to be. You proved me wrong. And I am happy to have you in my life hyungie. So please don't think otherwise." Jungkook said not wanting his hyung to misunderstand him. Taehyung sighed in relief after knowing that Kookie isn't scared of him.
