Crazy Love [Taekook]

DEVIL

The tears kept flowing nonstop from his eyes. He wish to wake up from this nightmare. The man he loves, the man whose mere presence gives him a sense of security and peace is the same man whose hands are covered in blood, blood of another human being. Yes, Jungkook was locked in a room forced to watch his boyfriend torture and beat two defenseless people who were hanging down from their hands which were tied to the rod in the ceiling. 

Taehyung looked like a merciless devil, showing absolutely no mercy on the people who were continuously begging for their life. He didn't want to believe that this was the same Taehyung who cuddled him to sleep, who brought white lilies for him just because. No it can't be the same person, he thought. Taehyung looked possessed, like a beast devoid of any emotion. Jungkook watched in horror as Taehyung broke one guys arm with a rod before moving to the next guy. 

Jungkook shut his eyes unable to watch anymore. The rational part of his brain was screaming at him to get as far away from Taehyung as possible but the emotional and vulnerable part of his brain wants to believe in Taehyung, believe in his love. His Taehyung can't hurt someone for no reason. There has to be a reason, he tried convincing himself. He was so lost in having an internal debate that he didn't hear the door getting opened, he flinched and opened his eyes when a hand touched his cheek. Taehyung was standing in front of him wiping his tears with an unreadable expression. Jungkook flinched and took a step back. He saw hurt flash through Taehyung's eyes for a second before it was replaced with a cold expression.

"You must be wondering why I asked you to come here? And why I was beating those guys up? Those guys are the ones who kidnapped you and took revealing pictures of you." Taehyung said pointing to the now unconscious guys hanging from the ceiling in the other room. Jungkook widened his eyes hearing that. But he stayed quiet realizing that there was more to this than just punishing his kidnappers. 

"You told me yesterday that I shouldn't have beat up Minjae and I called you here to show you what I do with the people who hurt my loved ones, what I am capable of doing." Taehyung paused to see Jungkook's reaction before continuing again.

 "I want you to see me, all of me, every dark part of me. I am good to the people that I love and a devil to the people that dare cross me. I can go to any limit, cross any line for the people I love and if that scares you, if I scare you then you shouldn't be with me. And I can see that you're already afraid of me. I'll never hurt you Jungkook. I maybe a devil but not a monster. I won't force you to accept me, you can leave now, think carefully before you give me your answer and I promise you I'll accept it without any questions." Taehyung said before opening the door and leaving without looking back. As soon as Taehyung was out of sight Jungkook broke down in tears not knowing that there was someone else who was breaking down as well.

"How did it go?" Jimin asked as soon as Taehyung walked through the door. 

"Not now Jimin. We have other things to worry about now." Taehyung answered sitting down in front of his friends who were waiting for him.
