"How old are you then?"

I already knew this but I wanted him to know more about me, and this was how I was starting the conversation.

"What do you mean? Like how old I am actually or how old I was when I stopped aging?" He asked.

"Both I guess."

"Well, I stopped aging at 17, almost 18, but I'm technically 67, 68 in a few months." He stated plainly, although, I thought he stopped aging at 16 so that was one thing I didn't know I guess. The information I receive wasn't very clear for some things.

"What about you?" He asked snapping me out of my thoughts.

"Hm? Oh, well...I stopped aging when I was 17, like you, but I've been walking this earth for a hell of a long time."

"How long?"

"172 years and counting." I said, I fake smile plastered on my face.

He looked at me dumb founded with his mouth slightly open.

"Wow...I'm just a baby compared to you..."

I giggled a bit but replied, "well, if we take the ages we stopped aging at then you're older than me...by like maybe a few months."

He nodded and sat up from the bed a bit more and we talked about little things.

He took it surprisingly well, I expected him to be telling me off but I guess he just tried to ignore the fact that we were tied, or as his people call it bonded, but I was just hopping that he would warm up to me, and some how he would go through what I did and he would know everything about me like I know about him.

After a little while I went home and fell onto my bed in a mess.

I'm bonded to my enemy.

I'm suppose to kill him.

This is like Romeo and Juliet but worse.

"Argh!" I yelled out in frustration.

"What's wrong eunnie?" Asked Jinkwang from his desk.

"Huh, nothing, it's too much for you."

"Pft, I'm 143 years old, I think I can handle it." he replied.

Jinkwang was different than the rest of us, he wasn't immortal but he aged incredibly slow, every ten years was the equivalent of one year for him.

Technically he would be 14, he acted like a 14 year old, but he had the knowledge of a village elder.

"Fine, but I'm only telling you because I can't tell anyone els, Jinkwang, if you tell anyone, we're both dead. I'm not kidding, they would kill me and if I'm not here then they would kill you too."

"Calm down, I won't tell anyone. Who's in this castle that I can talk to? Everyone hates me anyways..."

I sighed and walked over to him rubbing his back gently.

I told him the story of what happened and he was at a loss for words.

"Eunnie...I-I can't...-"

"I know Jinkwang...that's why I don't want you telling anyone. This is really hard for me to process."

I may have acted calm and collected at BF's base, but honestly I was trying really hard not to break down in tears of frustration.

BF didn't know who I was yet and I didn't want to tell them, not until THOs backed off a bit.

At least I hoped they would.
