Rushing into the hospital Alexis and I went up to the counter. Alexis hurrying behind me ...slowly .

"Hey , hey" she said out of breath.
"Who are we here for cause you said nothing about it on the way here accept 'don't be dead, don't be dead'."

Ignoring her I was focusing on reaching the front desk which was awkwardly not at the front. Once reaching the middle desk
Yes, I said middle. I asked the lady for directions .

"Excuse me, I'm looking for a Charity Thompson." I said.

The nurse pointed me down the hallway and told me to follow the yellow path.

Rushing down the hall me and Alexis saw my dad standing outside in the hallway. Walking up to him he enveloped me in a hug and begin to cry. I looked up at him as if trying to read his thoughts.

"She had a seizure that quickly escelated into a heart attack." He said.

"Is she going to be okay" I asked.

"They said they had to put her in a coma to decrease her chances of going back into a seizure." Dad Said.

"Can we go in and see her " Alexis Asked. " I know I'm not family but-"

"Alexis , you are family , don't pretend like you don't know we love you" Dad said.

Blushing Alexis and I went into the room and looked at my mother. We watched as the machines beeped and others pumped fluid into my her. Walking beside her I grabbed her hand and began to talk to her .

"Hey mommy, nice to see you " I said.

"Whenever you feel like it you can stop pretending to be in a coma by the way its Alexis." Alexis whispered .

"Why are you whispering " I asked.

She hunched her shoulders and walked over to the window. While I continued to sit. I looked around the room and observed its contents. There was a rose in a vase and a little note attached . Going over to the rose I picked up the not and unfolded it.

"Hope I didn't hurt her to bad , simply playing to win, get well soon" I read aloud.

Alexis turned her head towards me and walked over to read the note. Snatching it from my hands and walked to the door.

"What are you doing " I asked.

"Ending this nonsense , we can't keep living our life in fear. Mainly you but still." She responded.

Opening the door she was about to hand him the note when I heard my moms machines start speeding up. I called out to Alexis.

"ALEXIS" I yelled. "My mom , she's seizing again."

Alexis grabbed my Dad and yelled for the nurses. Running into the room she grabbed my hand and pulled me out of the way so the nurses could get to her.

"Is she going to be okay, is my mom going to be okay." I cried .

The doctors were checking all the machines until they finally seemed to come to a decision. Grabbing the machines the rushed her out the room and down the hallway. I turned around and looked away being unable to look. Crying into Alexis' shoulder I looked up at the window and saw an outline. Getting off Alexis I slowly walked over to the window. As I got closer the words suddenly began to unfold before our eyes.

"Let's keep this to oursleves, let's not be reckless." Me and Alexis read a loud.

"What the hell is that " We heard.

Turning around we saw Mitchell standing behind us. He walked up to me and grabbed my hand . I leaned my head on his shoulder and he smiled down at me. That same magical smile.

"You to have some explaining to do." He said.

********** Later That Night***********

"So basically, ever since the fatefal return of dear Avery you began to receive these messages." Mitchell examined .

"Not exactly after , it was a little before than but still she is a suspect." I said.

I'm glad he's here . Helping me get through this,not that Alexis isn't enough. It's just that its nice having someone to lean my head on. It's just one thing that I don't know about .

"How in hell did you know I was here" I asked.

Rubbing the back of his head he smiled nervously. I lifted an eyebrow and giggled a little. As soon as I did that I saw something flash in his eyes. He started to lean forward and I just followed suit. Leaning in I saw him close his eyes and that instantly confirmed it.

He's kissing me.

Leaning in and closing my eyes our lips were inches away when.

"Ummm hckkkuummmm"

We turned away and looked over at Alexis and Carly to see Carly glaring and Alexis wiggling her damn eyebrows again.

I looked at Mitchy and looked at our intwined hands. I got on my tippy toes and kissed him on the cheek and walked off with Alexis.

Today was awful but, good at the same time . Its just good to know that this wasn't all my fault .
