Chapter 10:
CARLY'S P.O.V.

I got a text from my phone, and turned over in my bed to grab it.

It was from Seth.

Seth: Hey Carly u wanna go to the beach at 1:00. We'll also get some lunch.

I checked the time on my phone and it was already 10:00. We didn't have school today, because of teachers workshop day.

Me: sure :)

Seth and I were starting to get closer with each other even though we went on one real date.

He was genuine and nice and he made me feel confident and beautiful.

Seth: great ill pick you up. I'll bring everything. Can't wait:)

I put my phone down and get out of bed. I open my door that leads to the small balcony from my room and check the weather. Woah. It's hot and and the sun is out. It's a beautiful day. The weather has been bipolar lately. Yesterday, it was like fifty degrees.

I go back into my room and grab one of my bikinis. The tip and bottom are black and the sides of the bottom have little diamonds.

I put it on and check myself in the mirror. When it comes to my body, I'm confident. I've got curves and a normal amount of boobs. My skin is a semi tan color and my blonde hair fits great with it.

I slap on over my bikini a pair of denim, light blue shorts and a loose, sleevless top-gray with a a dark purple hipster sign at the center. I put on my flips flops and some lip gloss.

By the time I finished getting ready, it was almost 11:00. I decided to go downstairs and I had and apple and toast. I watched some T.V. until I heard a knock on the door.

I grabbed my phone and went to the door. I opened it and Seth said, "Hey, you ready to go," I nodded and smiled and he lifted his elbow up for me to take it.

"Wait, wait," I said. We were laying down on the beach towel, our heads resting on our hands. "Candy or chocolate?"

"Easy," he answered. "Chocolate."

"Me too," I said.

"Okay, my turn." he turned himself on his side to face me. "Friend or boyfriend?"

I scrunched my eyebrow in confusion. "What do you mean?," I asked.

"Are we friends or can you, Carly Young, be my girlfriend."

He smiled and I knew right then that I was going to say yes, but I wasn't going to say it straight out. I had a better plan. "Does this answer your question," I leaned in and kissed him. I wrapped my hand around his neck, and he wrapped his arms around my waist, his hands roaming around my back. We broke apart for a breath and Seth said "Yes, that does answer my question. I hope my answer is right." he kissed me on the cheek and smiled.

"If your answer is yes than you're right," I said.

"You want to go in the water," he asked.

"Sure,"

We stood up and I started to take off my clothes that were over my bathing suit. I looked up and he was looking at me, wide eyed and opened mouthed.

"Uh... Carly barley, let me out it this way, you look damn hot," he said.

Oh shit. I knew I was blushing. Play it cool. Play it cool Carly.

"Why thank you," I said smiling back. I put my phone on the towel and looked back up. Damn. That. Six. Pack.

"Do you think the water's cold," I asked.

He smiled a mischievous smile and I was confused.

"Well let's find out," he ran towards me and pick me up by my legs. My butt was right next to his face, and my face was right next to his butt.

"Seth," I shouted. "Put me down."

"I will... once we get to the water."

I looked at the ground and by now it was water. He got a little deeper and told me to close my eyes. I had no choice he was going to drop me, but it was okay. My head went under water and right then, I knew the perfect way to get back at him. I felt for his foot, grabbed it, and pulled it towards me. He fell backward and while he was underwater I lifted my head up for air.

Oh shit. I felt his hands on my thighs and they were reaching higher. They made their way to my waist and he lifted his head out of the water. He opened his eyes and looked at me.

We kissed, and right then and there, I knew he was mine, and I was his.
