Hey guys, I know I updated yesterday, but I wanted to write more. If any of you are confused, Aubrey is the main character in the book. I know I did a lot in Carly's point of view, but Aubrey is the main character. Thanks for reading. Enjoy.

Jesse skipped school today. I missed his beautiful face. I had no one to stair at during Mr. William's class... or Mr. Lopez's class. Carly told me about her and Seth. I know who she's going to prom with. On the other hand, I don't have anyone to go with unless someone puts it in Jesse's brain to ask me. There's no one else I want to go with.
I mean if someone hot asks me, maybe I'll say yes, but I don't know. Prom isn't for like another three months. West town high school always has prom in May. At junior prom, Skyler got prom queen. It was like her dream come true. I was happy for her. She was able to go with Ryan then, but this year I don't know what she's going to do. She refuses to go with someone else.
Speaking of Skyler, "I can't find my freaking curling iron," she shouted. It's that time of the month. I got my period one and a half years before Skyler, and I can act like her sometimes... okay well a lot of times. One time she came into my room without knocking, and I was on my period, and well... I pulled her hair and and pushed her out of my room. I was only fifteen then, and now I'm eighteen, so it was a long time ago.
Good times, good times.
"Oh my G-d Skyler," I shouted back, "shut up. I don't know where it is."
"Well, wasn't I asking you?,"
She wasn't asking me, so she had a point. But she was still being annoying. I didn't answer and eventually she found her curling iron. Bless the heavens.
We were getting ready to go to a high school party's at Anthony Davis's house. He was also a good friend of Jesse. They're both on the football team, and Seth also is. Jesse is number 28 on the team, and he is the quarter back and captain. I hope he's at the party, because I look good, if I say so myself.
I put on a pair of black skinny jeans, a navy blue tank top, low cut, and black leather jacket. I paired it with a long necklace and a pair of black combat boots.

"Hey come dance," Carly shouted over the loud music. She grabbed my hand, and I had no choice but to dance. We walked to the middle of the crowded dance floor. I swayed my hips as Carly did. Seth was behind Carly with his hands on her waist. She turned around and they kissed furiously. I turned my head away from them to give them some privacy. I kept dancing slowly getting more and more into the music. I found Beth next to me.
"Hey girlfriend," she shouted.
I gave her a smile and I said the same back. We danced and together, shaking and shimmying. She left to get a drink and I continued swaying my hips.
All of a sudden a felt a pair of hands on my waist. I turned around to see Mathew Hardin, another member of the football team. He looked at me with his deep brown eyes and winked. I didn't push him away. I enjoyed it. I turned around.
"Hey, babe," he said.
"Hey."
"You look damn hot," he said winking again. He looked me up and down and looked back at me. I put my hand on his strong chest, gently bringing my hand down. I've never dance with a boy like this. It's not Jesse either. He's not even here. It's one night.
We danced more.
We kissed. It felt good.
I think I've been waiting for Jesse to come to me, but he hasn't.
I wen to get a drink and went back to dance. Mathew was still there. He saw me coming and smiled again. I smiled back and got closer to him. We kissed again.
"Damn, Aubrey, you're good," he said.
"I can say the same about you, Mathew," I answered back. We kissed furiously and broke apart for a breath, both sweaty and breathing heavily. He brought me closer to him, my body against his chest. His hands were roaming around my back and we connected our lips again. Once in a while he would nip at my bottom lip.
I hate to say it but, after this, Jesse Anderson was not on my mind.
