Missing him

"Peter, I miss him. He was always with me no matter where I went." You were talking to Peter about 1 week after your breakup with James. You hadn't told the other Avengers that you broke up with him. Peter had been covering for you when it was just too hard to leave the house without breaking down. You and Peter would walk around outside the Avengers compound after some training. Every once in a while Steve would run by slightly shouting at you two,

"On your left!" We would all chuckle and let him finish his run, he luckily never asked what we were talking about considering Steve introduced you to James about 3 years ago. Sometimes you would see Bucky out on a walk, you haven't talked to him for a while since he told you that he used to be in love with you. You tried not to bring it up since the last time you loved him was before he broke your heart by kissing another woman when you were going out together.

"Hey, can you meet me on the roof of the compound? I think we need to talk about the breakup." You heard Peter say over your phone while you were making Mac and cheese.

"Umm, sure give me 20 minutes and I will be there. Talk to you later, bug." You said serving yourself bowl of food, "also do you want some food? I make Mac and cheese for dinner."

"Yeah, sure. I was going to eat at home but Happy was talking to aunt may and it felt awkward to stay." Peter said, you could hear wind swishing past the phone, knowing he was swinging around the city.

"Bye bug!" You said grabbing a takeout container from a cabinet.
