Now,
Everything is lost.
Who will save me?
Who will drive me away from these thoughts?
Who will wake me from this dreadful nightmare?
Who will make their presence known just to comfort me?
Who will fill the void so empty it physically hurts?
Who will try to replace the love you had?
Who will never wait a sweat to come to my aid when I need it most?
Who will find me when I surely fall away?
Who will save me?
Before,
It was you.
Now,
Is is no one.
How will I live?
How will I get away from this violent world I've trapped myself in?
How will I distract myself from what is so blatantly clear?
How will I remember to live for others like you taught me?
How will I strive for kindness like you prodded me to do?
How will I learn to be better like we did together?
How will I respect others like you wanted for me so badly?
How will I find my way back to where I was before?
How will I live?
Before,
It seemed possible.
Now,
It's just hopeless.
Will I ever find myself again?
Will I ever see the light in the dark again?
Will I ever hear the birds chirping wistfully again?
Will I ever smell the goodness of a fresh meal again?
Will I ever taste the sweetness of candies again?
Will I ever feel the way I once did?
Will I ever sense anything I used to?
Will I ever confess my emotions again?
Will I ever find myself again?
Before,
I could.
Now,
I can't.
But, hope is here, isn't it?
I'll have hope, just like you helped me to.
I'll ignore the pain and move past it.
I will strengthen myself and grow fruitfully.
No one will stop me from doing what I love.
I will have my confidence and wits when people cross me.
I will never doubt myself again.
I have strength that will never die again.
I will heed your wish and have hope.
Before,

Now,
