Girls night out

The whole week passed so slow, but luckily I didn't stumble on my principal during the rest of the week. Nothing unusual happened so Alex and I decided we should go out for a girls night and invite Maddy. She's been really nice and we actually have a lot in common, I can see us becoming close in the future.

We decide to go to this well known rooftop bar called The Greenhouse. It's a really good place to just have some drinks and relax. It's decorated with a lot of plants and a rustic with a modern vibe to it.

Maddy and Alex came to my house to get ready together for the night.

I wore a champagne colour satin dress, it was a bit short but it covered enough with some transparent heels. For makeup I did the usual but with more glitter on my eyes and glow on my cheeks.

We took Alex's car to the bar and arrived in 30 minutes, it was in the Center of the city and a bit far from my house. We sat on a high round table with 3 stools around. Ordered some drinks and we laughed and talked. It was a good time and got to know Maddy more. Alex went to talk to a guy we noticed staring at her many times. So she decided to shoot her shot, he bought her a drink and they seemed to be having a good time.

Now it was just me and Maddy, she told me about how she only lived with her grandma and little brother since her parents were working abroad. She told me how it was sometimes hard for her to basically raise her brother since she didn't want to burden her grandma.

We talked more when she looked behind me and said - Isn't that.. Principal Montalli?- she said surprised

I felt my face turning and red and then almost choke on my drink - what..? - I said with difficulty. I turned around to see him at the entrance laughing with 2 other guys. We locked eyes for a second when I turned around back to Maddy.

She probably noticed my state when she asked - Are you okay? You look a bit pale. - she said with a worried look.

Might as well just tell her, it was obvious something was going on with me. After 10 minutes she pretty much new everything, how I fell for him and what happened this week at school. She listened carefully  until I finished.

Well.. it definitely doesn't help seeing him here -she said

Yeah- I said and then we laughed at this whole situation

I told her I was going to the bathroom for a moment and walked there, washed my hands and then looked at myself on the mirror still in disbelief that he was here. Decided I would still enjoy myself tonight and have fun. I walked out of the bathroom when I saw he was sitting right there at the bar ordering drinks. I tried to walk pass him as fast as I could to not be noticed, but of course he saw me.

Mika..?- he said with a smile to then talk again - What a coincidence seeing you here, let me buy you a drink. - he said with a sweet tone

Oh, don't bother and besides I don't think it would be right. - I said trying to get myself out of this situation.

It's alright, I'm the principal of the school, who am I going to get in trouble with- he said with a bit of an arrogant tone.

Your mother? As far as I know she is still the owner.- I said just stating the truth.

He looked at me for a second and then laughed- But who is going to tell her? You?- he asked and I shook my head side to side as a no.
