Louis lost his footing and fell down the slope of rocks. He groaned and rubbed his bum as he got his flashlight out. He looked around before getting up and taking a closer inspection. This was where they found the bodies.

It was far from the city, and no one ever came here, so Louis was wondering how someone found it in the first place. The crime scene was already cleaned up, but Louis felt like something was left behind.

He looked around for an hour, not finding a single thing. He sighed and was about to turn his flashlight off until something caught his eye. A figure moving in the shadows. Every hair on his body stood on end as the shadow moved and tried to go to the exit.

Louis snapped out of it and ran after the figure, but he tripped on something and landed face first into the gravel. Louis looked up just in time to see his suspect escaping. Louis huffed as he sat up and looked at what he tripped over. His heart jumped into his throat as he scrambled for his phone.

Not even an hour later the place was swarming with police. "Officer Tomlinson." Louis looked up from his conversation over his phone. "I'll call you back." Louis said before hanging up and giving his full attention to the head of the police.

"Yes sir."

"I would like to know why you were here so late and what happened?"

"I'm here because I think one of my inmates were wrongly accused and I saw someone in there, but I tripped, and they escaped. Their frame looked like one of a man and he had shabby looking hair." Louis muttered as he looked at the ground.

"Tomlinson if you go after every case with a wrongly accused culprit you'll be running around day in and day out. We'll look into this but leave it." Louis nodded as he watched him walk away.

Louis was so lost in thought that he didn't see Harry and slammed right into him. "Good to see you're thinking about this more than I am." Harry grunted as he stood up and helped Louis. "Sorry, but last night made no sense to me."

"Let's go see Zayn, maybe he can figure something out."

The found Zayn in the gym and told him everything. Zayn huffed as he whipped the sweat from his forehead, Harry couldn't help but smiled when he noticed Louis was watching every move Zayn made. "I'm not so sure, there's not a lot to go at there, and it's strange that the killer would go back, even after the place was found."

Harry hummed as he thought about it. "Louis, do you mind going again tonight? Something just doesn't seem right to me." Harry asked. "Sure thing, but you owe me twenty pounds."

"Deal." Harry chuckled. "You know," Zayn leaned in so no one else heard, "ever since Liam told you how he felt you've been smiling so much. It's nice to see it." Harry blushed before glaring at Zayn. "Shut up, at least he had the balls to ask, unlike someone." Zayn flipped him off as they left.

"So, asked him out yet?" Louis turned a bright red as Harry chuckled. "Look, I'd love to, but unlike Liam he's in here for a reason. He still has two years left."

"Well, he is well behaved. Maybe it can be one more year until he's out of here." Harry shrugged as he saw Louis's eyes sparkle. "Alright, I gotta bring Liam his lunch." Harry left a smiling Louis and went down to see his new boyfriend.

Liam was staring up at nothing when Harry walked in. He smiled as he sat up. "Hey." Harry smiled kindly as he walked in completely and handed Liam his food. He leaned down and kissed Liam's forehead. Liam blushed, still not used to it.

Harry updated him on Louis's finding's last night and he choked on his food. "Does that mean I can get out of here?" Liam asked, eyes full of hope. Harry frowned and looked away. "Well, we have to catch the guy first and all that."
