"Are you ready Lavender"
"Huh, oh yeah I guess" I say, dazed.
When I recieved my Hogwarts letter, I was ecstatic. My mother went there when she was young. But now, I'm not so sure. What if I'm a Squib? I will be a disgrace to the whole family.
My aunt Padma told me that there is nothing to worry about.
"We're here!" My mom sings from the front seat. My dad was to busy working at the Ministry to come. He went to Hogwarts, he was in Ravenclaw. My mom, Parvati Patil, was in Hufflepuff.
"Did you hear me Lavender?" My mom says, a concerned look on her face.
"Oh uh yes mom, I'm fine"
"Is everything alright dearest?" She says
"Yes Mom I'm fine!"
"Well alright..."
We get out of the car and walk to the station, 9 3/4 thats the platform. We walk to the large, brick pillar. I see a man with bright red hair point out how to go through the platform to a young boy. I also see a man with whitish blonde hair talking to a girl with brown hair, who looks about my age. The red headed family pass through the barrier with ease as well.
"Do you need help"
"No mom we've been through this, I'll be alright"
"Ok hon, I love you so much, you know that, right?"
"Of course mom, I love you too."
We hug and I grab my trolley from her. I have a beautiful snowy owl named Fred, my mom asked me to name him that after a very brave man. She didn't tell me any more than that. I face the platform, make sure no muggle is watching and run, full speed, torward the post. I close my eyes just before the impact and open them after I realize I'm safely through the barrier. All around me are people buzzing about, I see the red headed family standing by a family whose mother looks like she is from the redhead family. She is arm in arm with a man....is it.....it can't be. It's Harry potter.
"Oh wow!" I exclaim, saying it a little louder than I was supposed to.
"Pretty neat isn't it" Says a voice from behind me.
I whip around, cheeks flushed. It's that brown haired girl with a sly smirk on her face.
"My name is Cecilia Malfoy, pleased to meet your acquaintance."
