Your POV:
My theory was correct, Namjoons absolute bafflement as he stares at where I was visible a moment ago proves it.
"Hello? Are you still here?" He unsurely asks, he's too surprised to notice the few passing people look at him as if he's a crazy man.
"Yeah, I'm here."
He blinks blankly, gaze unsurely looking around as if awaiting an answer. Looks like he can't hear me as well. He coughs into his hand, glancing over in panic towards Jimin whos in a convenience store across the road.
With a sharp inhale his gaze returns back onto me, or atleast he tries. His gaze ends up far too left, he's just facing the rubbish bin now.
"I, uhm.. it's a ...my first time meeting a goddess. Forgive me if I'm being rude." He apologetically nods his head with a picture perfect dimpled smile as his eyes still nervously bounce around in disbelief.
So polite, I've seen him a fair bit due to tagging along to Jimins workplace but he knows absolutely nothing about me. Atleast, things are going far better than when I first met Jimin.
"I'm an atheist actually so, this is a little ...out of my element. Actually was that a rude thing to say, I'm so sorry... I ...I can't tell if you're offended or not."
....yea still going better than when I first met Jimin.
He bounces on his heels while looking over to the convenience store.
Jimins at the check-out now but the rains gotten heavier in the past couple minutes.
"So..." Namjoons voice cuts in, much higher and strained. Well atleast now with the rain this heavy most people are less bothered about a man talking to the air and more so on getting out of said rain.
"Did the big bang happen or is that whole theory a hoax since you exist? It's okay if you can't say really, I'm just a tad curious. Maybe when Jimin returns..."
In that moment he looks across the street for Jimin, the heavy downpour created a wall of translucency all over making it hard to see almost anything.
Yet one thing is evident if I squint, Jimin running over with his newly bought bright yellow umbrella overhead and a motorcycle speeding right for him.
"Jimin!" We both yelp at the same time, hands outstretched.
Only difference being a line of blazing hot blue shoots right out my palms and hits the motorcycle back tyre, melting it right onto the road.
Jimin jumps away upon seeing it, barely keeping the umbrella over his head.
Theres a large splash of water followed by the uneven screech of metal skidding against the asphalt of the road before a lump of a human falls with a dull thud against the pavement.
Jimin closes the distance between us in an instant, hurriedly draping an arm over our shoulders and pulling us away from the technical crime scene.
"Jimin, should we help?" Namjoon asks, torn between the two situations.
Jimin and I both shook our heads, the driver hopped off before the vehicle fell anyhow. No blood, no foul.
"I remember the licence plate, I'll refund him at a later time."
Namjoon jogs a little to catch-up, seeming lost "why refund?"
Jimins eyes widen before drawing into confused confused slits.
Could Namjoon not see the fire? If he can't then the general public probably can't either, meaning no one saw what I did. Jimin seems to have the same thought. His steps slow to a normal pace and he sighs in relief next to me.
