The next day. It is 12:30 P.M. and Katrina wakes up on her bed without Haru.
"Where is Haru?" Katrina asked.
"I'm right here, love. It's so late in the day." Haru said, coming over to the bed.
"I don't care, I'm going back to sleep."
"No, you're not. Tell me love, what's wrong?"
"I. Am. Tired."
"And why would that be?"
"I did not sleep well."
"I saw otherwise."
"Shut it."
"I will, my love." Katrina sticks out her tongue. Haru kisses Katrina and smirks at her flabbergasted look.
"I have to go somewhere. I will be right back. The only reason I am here is because I have unfinished business. When I finish that I will have to move on."
"Okay. And don't worry. When you move on, you will be missed."
"Ok."
"I love you Katrina." Katrina nods then vanishes away. Katrina appears in front of Adham, standing next to him is Misha.
"Free my brother before it gets ugly." Katrina said.
"How about no?" Adham said. Katrina does nothing but sighs then traps Adham in a fiery cage. "I thought you would be an angel."
"That life is boring...too boring."
"Then burn." Katrina does one swift movement of her arms then Adham is on the floor as a burnt corpse. Then a key rises from the corpse and unlocks Misha's soul. "My mission is done Misha. I must go on now."
"Dace vidana." Misha said.
"Dace vidana." Then a circle of fire goes around Katrina and she burns away. Meanwhile with Haru. He feels a feeling of relief. He now knows that Katrina is gone for good. He calls Nolan to tell him the news.
"WHAT?! YOU LET HER GO LIKE THAT?!" Nolan yelled through the phone.
"She was going to finish her business eventually." Haru replied calmly.
"But why?!"
"So that she could finish her business because where she is going she can torture Adham."
"But-nevermind. Anyways, be on the lookout. Souls that have moved on always leave something behind for their loved ones." Haru hangs up. Just then, a key appeared on his desk. Under the key there was a map that showed where the chest was that the key unlocked. Haru unlocked the chest. There were pictures and notes in the chest, but the one that caught his eye was black and white, with white numbers typed across the top. As Haru looked closer, he could make out the shape of something small and curled up: a child. Or, moreover, an ultrasound of one. Haru flipped the picture over. In Katrina's handwriting, the words were scrawled: What could've been ours.
No. No, NO! I let her-All for nothing. Haru lied on his bed crying for the first time in his life for what could've been hours. Then, he hears a knock at his door.
"Come in." When the door doesn't open, Haru opens his door. On the floor in front of him, is a small basket, containing an even smaller object. A baby girl.
