"How about this one?" I absentmindedly just nodded my head as to whatever the photographer was suggesting. I felt a hand hover over mine which caught my attention.

"I think Jennie's tired. How about we take a break so we can just continue this later on?" The staffs agreed and left until Kai and I are the only ones alone.

"Are you alright?" I stared at him. I like him, I really do.. but ever since Lisa woke up, she plagued my mind. I kept thinking about her, whether she is alright, if she is eating well, or if she is also thinking about me as much as I am thinking about her right now.

"Just thinking about Lisa." I told him honestly. Kai sighed before wrapping me in his embrace. I melted onto his touch, the same touch that comforted me when Lisa was still in a coma, when I was in the lowest point of my life waiting for the love of my life to come alive.

"She'll be fine. Her friends are there with her right?" I nodded my head but I could still feel the ache in my heart. "I feel bad but can we really control our heart? You didn't know whether she will still wake up, babe, we all lost hope. They were about to pull her life support. Whatever you're feeling right now, it's just surprised and also delight. She was someone who was so important to you anyway."

I sighed heavily before snuggling myself deeper onto his embrace in an attempt to dismiss the thoughts in my mind.

Thoughts that I should have stayed by Lisa instead and that I never should have lost my hope.

"You're right.."

"Hey, do you wanna go out?"

"Irene Bae, go out with me please."

"Irene, let's go on a date."

"What kind of dates do you like? Really? How about we go on one like that then?"

I continued to pace back and forth, repeating my lines over and over until the door infront of me suddenly opened and I stood there like a fool.

"U-uhh.."

"Lisa?" Irene looked at me in surprise and it feels like my tongue got tied as I stared at the beauty before me. "What are you doing here?" She closed the door behind me and that's when I noticed that she seems to be going somewhere.

"Uhm.. you see.. Irene.."

"Joohyun!" A man behind me called out for Irene and I could see the gentle smile that grazed on her lips. I turned around and saw an unfamiliar face riding a white scooter.

"Junmyeon, this is Lisa." Irene said while walking towards the guy. "Lisa, this is Junmyeon. He's my—"

"Her date." Upon hearing what the guy just said, I felt a familiar sensation in my stomach. The same feeling I had after finding out that Jennie is dating Kai already.

"Oh." That was all I said before rushing to leave, ignoring Irene's repeated calls of my name.

"Damn."

"I know, my exact thoughts when I found out." I sighed once again as I play with my food. We're currently eating lunch but I don't have any will to eat, no appetite to consume anything.

"You still have a chance you know." Krystal stated out of the blue. "They're not officially together, he's only courting her.. for some time now."

"For some time which means anytime soon she will end up saying yes to him." I said before heaving another deep sigh.
